What a coincidence. I've just come home from watching it in Cardiff.
3D on Imax is the ultimate cinema experience even if rather expensive.
I hope that the new Hobbit films get a similar treatment and perhaps the Lord Of The Rings Trilogy do one day.

I went to the Imax in Bournmouth a few years ago and watched a 3D film it really was amazing, think it was called Cyber something and had the Simpsons in it.

I'm really cheesed off.
When I tried to book online the day they went on sale The Odeon website told me it wasn't being 'Imaxed' at The Printworks and said my nearest one was Trafford centre. so that's where I saw it. So it's on imax at printworks and Trafford centre hasn't even got an imax screen!!

totally agree, i took my seven year old to the iMax to see harry potter and he was blown away, makes other cinemas seem tame,
