My mum has her name under Virgin for the m Phone, m TV and 2mb Broadband, they are charging her quite a bit for the 2MB broadband alone (I think it comes up to about 50-60 quid a month)
Is this right? I 've seen the 3 for 30 deal but I don't think it applies to her as she was previously an NTL customer. Shes thinking about cutting it all off anyway because they are upping the prices.

How much would Sky cost roughly a month for the same deal (TV, Broadband, Phone)

Well first find out exactly what you are paying for each service, it is printed on the bill you get each month.

Virgin are very receptive to cutting their prices so dont just think of jumping ship and going to sky with all the hassle that it entails.

Ring up Virgin and say you think you are being overcharged (with maybe the suggestion you are thinking of going to Sky) and they will almost certain cut your price.

I am paying £11 a month for phone, and about £25 a month for TWENTY mb broadband.

It's always a good idea to threaten to cancel because they're too expensive to get them to come up with their best deal! Good luck.

You can get better than that
My mum has
XL telephone, M TV and M BB for £19.95 a month, which is a current standard lifetime retentions deal.
I have XL TV, m phone & XL TV for £30.50 a month, lifetime retentions deal.

ring them up, they play with loads of deals on the phone and then give you a discount, they told me if i got XL phone instead of L It would be £15 off cos of the cross promotion stuff. I dont work there lol
A mate of mine at work gets the same as me but he also gets a 2nd box in another room for the same rpice, so its different for everyone and depends on how helpful the person on the phone is if they WANT to find you the best deal. lol

Did you mean 2 XL TV??? or XL TV & XL BB?? as would it not be better to just get the 2nd box for a fiver, for the 2nd box?

So I just phone up and say I want a new deal? I think my mum is canceling the TV anyway as I've given her the freeview box. So Surely I will get a better phone/broadband deal now?
The last time she phoned and said she was going to sky the guy said "on you go" :?
