When it was Telewest, it was awful. Constant problems with my set top box freezing, wrong charge on bills etc. But now its Virgin, its a lot better. I still think its pricey, but I have the VIP package with addtional set top box and V+ (which is better than Sky+) and haven't had any problems. Only bad thing is that they dont inform you when their services are down :-)

I've had a great experience with Virgin, I have been upgraded to a better broadband and television package for being a good customer. Never had any issues with them.

They have some good deals to if you look at their website, it would depend what you wanted from them. If you were going to have tele, phone and internet then IMO there is nothing chepaer out there of the same standard. Broadband through Cable is so much better and well worth it.

If you recommend friends to join too you can save £35 - £50 each to off your first bill.

So if you fancy being my friend then i could send you this through? :-D

Fine for me - over a year with no outage - rarely get 20mb but 10-15mb most of the time :)

im with virgin...fine for me. Good price and they deal with the probs if you get any on the v+ box unlike sky where you have to buy insurance after a year

I've been with virgin for nearly 4 years & only ever had a 1 problem with them, which was last week when my internet stopped working - came out the next day to fix it & was told my tv box had also gone as the interactive had stopped working, gave me a new modem, and new tv set top box, all sorted very quickly, can't fault them :-D

Personally I cannot fault them.Been a cable customer since the Telewest days and only had one or two issues in all that time and they were dealt with to my satisfaction.
I always find the call centre staff to be polite and helpful too.......mind you I am polite to them so maybe that is the key!;-)

I would not touch with a bargepole,

Foreign Call centres and support (Dont mind but they dont understand English)

Traffic management system on the broadband so not "Unlimited"

Spyware to check if they can "Flog" you something!.

Apart from that no problems, go for it (lol).

I would personally say no, but everyone to their own.

I currently subscribe to BT/Sky/O2 Broadband with no problems, but some do have probs.

Just my opinion so let other people give their opinions too.

They're rubbish. I tried net access on my mate's 2mbit connection whilst he was doing some light torrenting, and it was unusably slow. I pay less than him for smething far, far faster with O2.

2mb and torrenting no matter how light will always be a bad experience.
But he will be getting an upgrade to 10mb soon.
