Just got my bill and without telling me they have put it up by £3.50 - my package runs until end of next month! Stupid indian call centre said bb gone up by £2 and I have lost my discount on my tv package. I am sooooooooooooo angry!!! ahhhh!

thanks Clarity! I am so angry right now - if they told me I could have left them! I dont even want faster bb - i never asked them to upgrade. I know they are doing it for everyone, but I dont want to pay them for something I dont want. I am going to call retentions tomorro and see what they offer or I am leaving

I hope they respond more positively to you than they did to me.

when I asked to cancel the woman assurred me shed do all she could to sort it out for me, promised me a cut in prices and an engineer on my doorstep to fix the problems i was having...

neither came to pass and then i was hopppppppppping mad. they coulda offered me a million bucks and i woulda still told em to stick it lol

its all sand in the air stuff....I've had the same service package for 2 years and the service charge cost is always a quid or 2 different each time...lol

just keep asking for caroline daniels (I think) , or send an e-mail marked for her attention, it's been a while but she was the head of customer services last time I complained and I had the problem sorted in less than 24 hours.

i got mine last month it was included with a coloured flyer - to be honest i didnt think it was anything but left it on the side to put in the recycling bin and as i went to put it in i realised it said something about changes to bill so read it

im only about 8mths into a 12mth contract maybe i will get the letter when this ends i will cancel and go back to aol i prefered that anyway only came to virgin cos it was cheap its defo not worth more money to me it crashes all the time :roll:

mine does too - my contract finishes in October so will be looking for a deal then

i dont think virgin are that bad,been with them few years now, not had many probs at all, only one i had was with my v+ box, which they sent out an engineer within a week and replaced it.., allthough the indian guy had trouble figuring out my problem lol

Count yourself lucky then. Trust me, when it goes wrong virgin are the ultimate cream of the crop when it comes to making matters worse and really peeving their customers off.

Never put all your eggs in one basket.....

They are a thousand times better than NTL used to be and they a way better than SKY.

last time I rang up I got someone in Manc I think (0161) cos he gave me a direct line to come back to him if prob wasn't sorted. He couldn't have been more helpful

My deal finishes 24th May - they would not offer me a deal to stay!!!!! Just called - best they could offer is what I have now. Seems they arent bothered anymore.

Virgin Media are appalling. We complained because our bb was so slow so they gave us a free upgrade, and without telling us had signed us to a new 12 month contract. Then when we complained they switched us to our original contract but tried to charge us for the week of faster bb we'd had. AWFUL company!

Yup i got one of the letters saying prices were going up - but luckily the package im on wasnt changing, the letter came about 4-5 weeks ago
