Not sure when it expires, however this is a fantastic deal! If you've been thinking about getting a Virgin Media package, I'd say now is a good time :)

Hot Hot Hot! :)

So if I get 10Mb Size L 12 months contract:

15 x 3 + 20 x 9 = 225

225 - 150 = 75/year or 6.25/month

FREE installation as well!!!

#3
Also £150 cashback from topcashback to those who object to quidco's £5 annual fee

Have just placed an order and tracked and validated but not due to install until next week. If I cancel and reapply will I be tracked and validated again.

I'm sure you could...

Hmm, could be excellent but a bit premature for me. I'm very much a Sky man but am moving house soon and have been swayed by Virgin so not sure what to go with. This Quidco would be superb, if it hangs around for a while longer.

Very hot though IMO.

so could i cancel and reapply

Moved to misc as this is a cashback notification :)

I would and then reapply through Quidco.

This is a great deal - shame I am tied into a contract with BT.

Sky isn't brilliant but VM is much worse (and much more expensive, read the small print)

What they don't tell you is, after you received your cash back - if you get it - you start paying the highest telephone charges in the country (higher than BT), get a second rate tv service, and although the broadband is very stable, you don't get unlimited downloads and only 512kb upload speed. They operate a "traffic scheme" by which your connection is slowed down to 25% if you download a lot or watch streamings like BBC iplayer and the like. I've just changed to o2 for broadband. £80 quidco, first two months free and then £12.95 per months for a 20mb download and 1.3mb! upload connection, which works out £5.40 per months with NO restrictions whatsoever. Yes, you do need a BT phone line, but if you go with VM you need that too, either from VM or BT (unless you don't want a landline at all). Cold from me.

Considering the phone line is £11 per month with BT - your actually paying closer to £16.50 a month for that broadband - With Virgin, the 50MB is currently gonna be around about £38 from september i heard? - including a land line, get £150 cash back - Closer to £25.50 a month. Not to mention getting free medium TV - So 50MB BB is 150% faster than the O2 equivalent - Dont download during peak times and your good (of if you do, limit the total to download) - whatever the service - Even the current 50MB BB its cheaper to get a land line with it as its cheaper by £4 per month.

I signed up last year with virgin and quidco to get the £60 cashback.

IS it possible to cancel this, then go with top cash back to get cashback? Cheers

Question : If i take just TV on its own (Eg. the M package which is free if I take £11 phone line) will I still get the £150 quidco?

If so its a steal. In fact I could get a years tv and phone rental for minus 18 quid!
#17
Is this possible to do if you are laready with Virgin Media?- like can I give notice to cancel then sign up again afresh and go through quidco>? Anyone have any info about that>?

Thanks:)

Should be fine, though it would prob need to be in a different name.

ahh- right, so cancel it then get the wife to sign up in her name:)

Got a thing through the door today actually too, from VM. It says Free V+HD on selected bundles. Doesn't really say WHICH bundles in the leaflet and the website is a bit rubbish. It keeps changing what you select when you proceed so you can't tell if you are getting an HD box or what before you press go to checkout, and I don't wanna go to checkout I just wanna find out the price of it all, and what it is I'm actually going to get before I even thnk about buying.:x

Edit:Found a page that tells you about what the HD box costs for what package:

i recently renogatiated my contract with them after already being with them for 12 months and managed to get them down to £27/month for XL boradband M, M . Is this a binding contract? can i still cancel and get quidco on a another name for example, this would work out much cheaper,
Any advice? They're coming to install in my new property in september, so want to get this offer a.s.a.p TIA
#22
I have just spoken to the virgin team on twitter and they say they can offer it for £28 per month including the telephone line. There is no installation fee and a £20 connection fee. How does that stack up with this Quidco offer?

Just to be clear : :)

Cashback is paid for the new customers only. No cashback will be paid on Dial up.

The £150 cashback is applicable to any Virgin Media package which includes a service provided by cable, i.e. Broadband, Broadband and TV Package, Bundles etc.

Virgin Media National means non-cable packages / bundles.

Please note that cashback will be paid after installation.

this looks great to me..im moving on friday..so i've cancelled with them instead of taking the service with me....

and then i'm gonna re-sign with them as a new customer......

thing is...if you click on this link through quidco...they have an offer on for 'free ' netbook.....can this be combined with the £150 cashback?..or will it be considered as 2 offers?..so maybe cancelling the cashback through quidco?
#29
ok..just read terms....'not to be used in conjunction with any other offer'..... so guess not..... :-(

But TV and phone is a bundle - it doesn't say anywhere that you have to have 3 items in your bundle - just that one of them must be a cable supplied service - which TV is?
#32
I just got BB and the phone line - that got me the cashback, even though its cheaper to get a phone line - this was 11 month ago.
#33
Well this is mighty tempting, but how do they define "new customer"? I did have broadband with them but cancelled it back in April.
