It is illegal to buy/sell Virgin Media boxes as they remain the property of Virgin Media at all times.

you cannot buy virgin boxes as the only ones for sale are stolen, they alwaysw belong to virgin

sky sells the box to you so you can do whatever you want with it include sell it

It is crazy, the guy came into the house just to hook the new box up, and didn't even have a HDMI cable on him (this was 2 years ago) connected it via SCART. I had to phone up VM for them to supply me with a HDMI cable.

If you don't already have a VM service, fair enough, but when you do, an installation charge of £75 really is taking the pee.

yeah they know how to make there money.

when i got vm installed i only got phone and bb and then got tv a 1-2 months ago and had to pay another £30 connection fee for tv installation because they said the engineer had to do work on the street which was a lie.
