Virgin TV - Best Deal For A Man United Fan?

Hi guys and girls. Im with Virgin and looking to get sky sports as Im sure it wont cost as much as going to the pub every night to watch them play does!

Basically Id like to know which channel shows the most united matches (mix of premier league, FA Cup, Champs League etc) or do Sky Sports 1 and 2 show the same amount of games?

Also how much extra does it cost to get Sky Sports 1 and 2? Can you buy them seperately?

Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks alot

Jim

i think the prem games tend to be on SS1, and champions league games on SS2.
mutv is quite good, get to watch the reserves games live and reruns of the matches with commentry and analysis from dennis and paddy.

Generally:

Premiership games on Sky Sports 1
Champions League on Sky Sports 2 & 3 or Extra
If they have FA Cup these are again usually on Sky Sports 2

Or you can support my wonderful team of Liverpool and you will only need Sky Sports 1 by the end of tonight.

Just be careful as if you get SS1 they tend to show some bigs games on SS2 to make you buy both,

Make sure you are not frustrated and get both.

Imagine sitting down getting ready to watch the game only for it to be on SS2 no SS1.

Im sure there is a deal where if you buy 1 and 2, 3 and extra is chucked in

I was in the same boat as yourself.
I phoned Sky on Monday night with the intention of only taking SKySPorts 1 (£9)
The woman siad there was an offer at the moment & was able to give me the entire sports packages - SS1, 2, 3, Xtra for only £9 for 3 months...
I said "HELL yeah Baby" & was able to enjoy a world of football last night!

Gonna cancel it at the start of Feb & see if they'll offer me any more.

So in conclusion I would ring them up & say you're interested in taking SS1 ..fingers crossed for you

If you get the Virgin 'L' TV package i think you also get ESPN thrown in for free...likely to be the odd game on there as well

im on the xl at the moment and it works out cheaper to get sky sports with xl than it does with L.

ESPN is a joke....so far i think theyve had 1 game.....i would cancel it if i could but it comes with the XL package.
