YES, it's fun and very good dispite what people keep on saying about it, mine only has one bug and that's the roxia one but one day I will get that sorted out as well, the sidebars are the coolest I have ever seen

One thing to think about with Vista, is that if you have XP - then there's no real need (at the moment) to upgrade.

Got a new laptop with Vista Home on it and it's very nice so far!
Took a couple of hours getting used to but only real downside I can see is the start up time, takes a while.
Mind you, I have not really tweaked it yet. First thing I did when I got the Laptop was to get rid of Norton!

Agreed, I will give it another 6 months to a year, by which time MS may have sorted out all of the bugs, many are still being reported.

yeah now, but in a year or so when you install more stuff, which needs more ram you pc/laptop will be slow.

I agree with the person who says vista is not needed at the mo:thumbsup:

What's one care like?
I have AVG running on the laptop but yet to find a good firewall that is not bloated (aka Zone alarm) and available to Vista

yea but thats a year away and memory prices will be even cheaper.
for now it runs great

When I first installed it I had only 512MB and it worked on that, although it was slow,it was still very useable and that was the Ultimate edition.
