Hi, i have vista on a laptop which has 1 account, how do i go about removing the account so that when i boot up it doesn't keep going to the login screen? I have already removed the password.

Cheers, Sean

Select the Microsoft Key and R key at the same time. Type "control userpasswords2" then select your default account and de-select the "users must enter a username and password " box. It will ask you to confirm using the admin password but just hit enter as it will probably not be set.

Are you trying to set up remote access by any chance or just want to get rid of the login screen?

Thanks for your help guys, i have sorted it now. And no i am not trying to do a remote access. I found an easy way of doing it, by typing netplwiz in start and doing it there.
