Got a project for this, a very minor part in it is actually getting information from a database (only need 3-4 tables) I was wondering is it possible to directly link in access 2007 tables- which could be updated within visual studio? Cheers!

I did this a couple of years ago in Visual Studio 2005 using Visual Basic .Net for an A level project. You can do it with objects on the toolbox but I found this quite restrictive (I had connections in different classes to different tables) so found it better to do it using the code.

A quick google search found this site: http://www.akadia.com/services/dotnet_dbaccess.html which although a bit dated looks to have everything I included. This is for C# but if you're thinking of doing the above I'm sure you can figure it out if you're not used to it

Edit: http://www.vkinfotek.com/object.html this site is a bit more like what I did, for VB .Net
