Vodafone gave anyone else a good deal on a second line?

Got a call from vodafone yesterday. Now this is deal I am currently on:

£20 per month - 75 mins per months - 12mths.
K850i which I sold + quidco.
Total cost = £0

I'm 6 months into this and so far I have used about 15 mins (in total!) - i never use it, just got it cos it was free total cost.

Anyway got a ring from vodafone and they offered me this:

15 months half price line rental - normallly £25.
Brand NEW SE W980i.
4GB M2 memory card + bluetooh headset.
150mins + 500txts.

Total cost ~£260. sell phone for and will be free.

I think the fact that I'm only 6 months into and they offered me a deal like this is brilliant (OK not as good as my O2 CPW deal - but pretty good.).

Just curious is this normal for vodafone? Has anyone else been offered something like this?

What are you asking exactly? Vodafone has already offered a deal that you love so go for it.

No I've accepted the offer but I want to know is this normal? CPW O2 have never ever done this and neither have 3 or Orange.

Just curious how many other people have been rang up by vodafone only 6 months into their contract?

But you are paying for another line with them. If they allow you to upgrade after 6 months without needing to pay for a 2nd line, then that would be rare. I'm sure you can get the exact same deal as your first line if you asked.

Are you sure the phone call was from vodafone?

Yep, rang 191 and confirmed the deal.

Yes but the thing is that the 2nd line is actually a good offer which I would only expect to get when I want to upgrade after 12 months.

This is the first time a company has rang me to offer me a good after only 6 months into my contract.

(My first line is FREE anyway - why would I want to cancel it?)
