Vodafone "stay with us & dont go to Orange" deal - any good ??

Hi all

Was just about to jump from Vodafone to Orange but have been offered new deal to stay & wondering if its ok!

- 12 month contract (although technically only 11 months as I still have over a month of my current one to run).
- Sim only (happy with my current phone).
- 300mins anytime x network
- 100 texts
- Unlimited email & web browsing.

Text & Minutes are more than enough for me.

All for the princely sum of £12.50 per month.

Seems good to me but would appreciate you expert (or otherwise) opinions :-)

id go for orange through quidco £150 cashback a free phone i seen the sony ericsson c902 200 minutes unlimted texts for £20 a month also they offer free broadband as well if ur a orange customer
Not bothered about new phone but am keen to get unlimited browsing.

Orange want £8 just for the browsing !
Depends on what you need i guess. o2 payg gives you unlimited texts+calls to o2 numbers for £15/month...........
i get 300 mins and 300 texts for £10 a month with virgin
If I went for this deal now but continued to shop around would distance selling regs apply i.e. would I have a period of time to back out of the deal?
dont go to orange especially if you want to use their internet services.

They connection is very slow and at every chance they will charge you when they arent supposed too. So far i have had to reclaim nearly £100 back for internet charges wrongly applied to my account
