Bit of an odd one, I set up an iphone contract with vodafone for my husband a couple of weeks back. The deal was so good (free iphone with 18 month contract) that the rep agreed if I phoned up within 2 weeks I could get the same deal again for me (same account). I phoned within a week and got the 2nd iphone sent out (again free of charge). My number from o2 became inactive on Tuesday just passed so I assumed that mean't my new vodafone sim was now working my old number - wrong!
To cut a long story short, it appears a 2nd contract cannot be added, nor had one even been set up (i had been sent the iphone 4 out for free with no strings). Its now at executive level as of Thursday however I have not heard from anyone at vodafone since to try and get my sim working. I was promised that they would reduce the monthly cost or give me a couple of months free however that was when they said the line should be active by Friday. Its now Sunday..
do I have a free iphone out of this no strings attached? its all very odd.
