Vodafone upgrade help

I am due an upgrade from my Mobile Broadband (which i've had for 18 mths @ £15pm)

anyway, i've looked online and I see I can choose a phone only (no new plan or phone and plan)

I look through them and I see that the blackberry 9700 is there under a 12 month plan.

I called voda to enquire about it, and the woman on the phone basically told me i was lying and it was 'physically impossible' and the lowest i could get it for was £35pm and not just a phoneupgrade @ the same tariff.

However on the website it says Price: FREE @ 12 months.

What should I do, because I don't want to pay more then it says online, but I want that phone?

voda do some good deals - but tell them that you want to leave, and ask for pac code or e-mail in giving your notice. they will ring you up to try and keep you. they ring 3 times, each time they have a better offer for you.
i know this cos i got a good deal 12 months ago:

500 mins (stop the clock) 500 texts and unlimited internet for £22 a month with free sony c905 (which was a pretty good phone 12 months ago) on a 12 month contract.

basically bultiply the amount of line rental by the contact length and if the phone has a retail price of less then you will be able to get it. (they will give you pretty mush any amount of mins texts & internet)

so - if you pay £25 a month for 12 months = £300 - so they will give you most phones on the market, and a great number of call & texts etc.

Hello *********

Good news – we've processed your recent upgrade.

If you selected a new price plan as part of your order, it will start today.

We’ll email you again to let you know when your new handset has been despatched.

Thanks for extending your contract with Vodafone for a further 12 months.
So the tariff length is right so far.

What i meant was, if they say it was wrong and i need to pay X what should i do?

I only pay £15pm for my mobile broadband, had that 18 months, so £270.

But I just wanted to keep that and get the phone (to put it on o2)

its what you are going to pay. not waht you have paid. if i was you ring them up ask to leave.

i reckon you will get your mobile broadband for practically nothing, maybe £5 a month - then get the blackberry 9700 maybe £15 a month 18 months - 900mins unlimited texts & internet.

i reckon you will get this, just haggle and you get pretty good deals. this would only cost £20 a month, they might even do the whole lot for £15.
