.Volcanic Eruption Meets Lightning Storm

Two of natures most spectacular forces produced an incredible brew in the skies of Chile as a volcanic eruptionmet a lightning storm.
Tons of dust and ash from the eruption of the Chait?volcano poured into the night skyjust as an electric storm passed overhead.
The resulting collision created a spectacular sight as lightning flickered around the dust cloud amid the orange glow of the volcano.
The eruption was all the more spectacular because the Chait?volcano,800 miles (1,290km)south of Santiago, has been dormant for hundreds - if not thousands - of years.
The Patagonian volcano began erupting 3/4 weeks ago and the 12-mile-high plume has left vast tracts of land coated with a layer of ash.

Nah...no fun in that....nothing like standing in a storm and looking up....

to hell with the consequences nothing better to clear your head and make you make sense of everything in the world...for those brief moments your troubles seem insignificant

yes can see where your coming from here but ........................

This was the dramatic scene as the world's largest statue of Jesus was hit by lightning.
The bolt parted the thunderclouds over Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to strike Christ the Redeemer.
The statue is 130ft tall, is made of 700 tons of reinforced concrete and stands atop the 2,296ft Corcovado mountain overlooking the city.

................ can happen to people too !!
