Want to work from home, typing or ANYTHING, any hints or tips on finding non-scams?

Hopefully someone out there can help me. I am a mother of two girls aged 7 and 3 and I desperately want to find some work from home. I've tried Avon and such like but am most skilled at typing so would love to do this as I think it would work well for me and for an employer as I wouldn't have to keep taking time off work for childcare. I've sent a letter around several local companies to no avail (most never even replied) and have scanned the internet but a lot either again don't reply or ask for a joining fee, something I'm not prepared to do as they are more than likely scams.

I am actually willing to do anything legitimate from home whether it be typing, put labels on clothes or putting things in envelopes as long as I know it's not a scam.

Does anyone out there have any suggestions? I could try and get a "normal" job but couldn't work holidays, full-time, out of school hours or when my children are sick which is why I'm trying to work from home as at least in all these circumstances I could work around the children while they're here, or at night when my husband gets home from work.

I'd really appreciate any advice or help anyone may have.

Annie

P.S. First time I've actually submitted an item so don't please don't shout at me if I've done anything wrong, thanks.

you could start doing some blogging just type "paid blogging" into google and in the mean time go to www.mysearchfunds.com and just use it instead of your search engine and you get paid between 2p-5p a search! i have been doing it since march and have got £26 worth of searches so in a month and a bit it will get paid into my account!

I've heard of someone recently who works from home connecting metal chains to bathroom plugs. Can't remember who it was but if I do I'll get the info for you.

Thanks guys, replies already. Not really looked into blogging before and I thought I was quite up on these things but will have a look into it.

Chains on bathroom plugs is fine by me as long as I get paid so I appreciate you looking into it for me.

I think I could get hooked with this "submit" mallarky!!

My mom used to pack wall plugs but the company stopped that, and she used to nail in the nails into the plastic clip things and again the company stopped that. I'd suggest doing something like www.valuedopinions.com for a little bit, and ipoints.co.uk you can get something like an amazon voucher or something stupid. Also another thing to do from home, it sounds bad, but a sex chatline. there was a thing in my magazine and this woman does a sex chat.

There are places that want people to talk on the telephones but it's a high chance that the clients would go into sexual converstation. It's legal but your choice of view as to whether it's moral.

I've looked around a lot too and mostly you'll just get scammed. Remember NEVER pay someone to give you a job.

That's the problem I'm finding on the internet, most places want a start-up fee which automatically makes me switch off. I'm sure there must be some legit ones out there somewhere.

I've heard Kleeneze works but it's a lot of effort. I know a few people who go to carboot sales and buy baby clothes, wash them, iron etc and sell them on ebay for sometimes a very decent amount.

I agree not to pay someone to give you a job, but if it's a self employed opportunity such as Kleeneze then in nearly all cases it's not only normal but ridiculous to think you can be self employed without paying any costs. If it's your own business you can be fairly certain you will have some costs. The trick is to make certain that any costs are legitamate, that you know what you are getting for them and ideaaly that there is some kind of money back guarantee.

Your correct it does work and it is a lot of effort especially when you first start. Many people join thinking it will be easy and soon get discouraged when they realise it actually requires work and persistence. Those people don't usually stick at it for very long. However if you understand that there are no easy way's to making great money that are legal, but you are prepared to work hard and follow a simple system that has worked for many people and in some cases earnt huge salaries that most people only dream about, then it's a business with very little to lose and a great deal to gain.

I personally did Kleeneze about 6 years ago and was doing fairly well, but through personal circumstances left the country, and so couldn't continue. I ended up getting married and then more recently recommended my wife should start the business. She is Brazilian and her English is not great so it was an ideal choice for her as she does the catalogues and I help her with the team. She loves it, but it's definitely not for everyone and I know people that have tried it and really just couldn't get on with it.

My opinion is that for the right kind of people it's an opportunity that they will rarely find, not just to make great money but meet lot's of really good genuine people.
