It's not possible. End of story. Only Sony Ericsson or your Network can do this, or an not so legit employee of one of them, everyone else is lying.

How come sites say they can do it then?

What network are you on. I asked Vodafone for the unlock code for my k800 and they gave it to me.

Anyways, you can do it for free though pretty easily yourself.

Follow this

register and ask if you get stuck, that guide isn't too good, but it's really easy to do, there was a good guide on here but the mods deleted it for some reason.

Cheers will give it ago tomorow:thumbsup:

The best guide is here:
http://hotukdeals.com/item/144855/free-unlock-of-sony-ericsson-db2020/

It is really detailed but for some reason was removed so I'd message the mods asking for it back. Use this form:
http://hotukdeals.com/forums/sendmessage.php

Include the thread link, also at the same time you can debrand your phone, this removes all the horrible operator branding and things, much better IMO, you can even upgrade it to a K810 instead!

I gave them an email thanks again. We will see what happens!
