Spilled nearly a whole bottle of water on my lovely laptop.
switched it off panic'd etc

looks like it just switches on now, lights turn on and no display..

what could be the problem!? i opened it up and there was hardly any visible areas where water fell though!

I can't afford a new motherboard! There must be some other ways to fix this? freezer/oven fix lol??

Remove the battery and put it under a table lamp overnight,

I would let it dry before worrying too much. My Brother spilt a can of diet coke on has samsung laptop. I bought a new key board for £23 on bay and it is fine now

I turned it on without the keyboard and nothing came up, it did turn on once but that was it! nothing since! argghh its annoying having a dead laptop! (harddrive is still fine though..)

put it in the oven for an hour at 200c, that should do it

^ this. Lol @ putting it in the oven X)
not to ruin the fun but you'd be better of putting it under a hot lamp or something

okok i was going to oven it. opened it up and theres far to many wires which are stuck on for it to come off so i just hairdryed the sh*t out of it.

...and so far the fan turns on! nothing new...

i wonder if i can boot to an external display?

you have probably killed it by switching it on before drying it out
