What a waste, Hull are about our level and we only just managed to beat them 1-0. We should be beating teams like Hull 4-0 every week, that's no disrespect to Hull. Their has been no improvement this season, we were better last season under LVG, I am shocked at how poor we have been, consistently poor, yeah I got carried away and almost accepted that Pogba would be a world class addition but he not improved the squad at all. Watford were worth every point today, well played. United are a long way off and can honestly say we'll struggle for top 4, we might even struggle for top 10 unless we make some dramatic improvement.

Erm, yes it is.
Hull were merely an example, they're typically a bottom half of table team, United are supposed to be title contenders. Look at City beating teams 4-0 every other week. We're a long way off that.

The Premier league's a lot more competitive than in the days MU used to dominate in the nineties and noughties. Back then the title challengers invariably did beat every bottom half team they played but those days are gone, now anyone is capable of beating anyone else. I wouldn't worry too much about Man City winning their first 5 games anyway, they did exactly the same last season :)

I'm just a little peed off today, It's been a nightmare week and personal stuff too which doesn't help lol, I'm sure we'll be back to total domination sometime in the future ;).

I agree it's much tougher, I think throughout the English leagues too.!.

Utd dominated the league when a lot of other teams didn't have multimillionare owners.. now pretty much every team has some oligarch owning it that ploughs money in buying up players for squillions...

I used to say a few years ago about Citeh... buying all the players under the sun won't make them a team.. years of playing together (as Utd did) will.. which is what Citeh have had now and it shows.

Utd need to learn to gel as a team again with the new influx of bought and home grown players.

Why? Lfc are still a work in progress we don't even have a left back/wingback... New players still to gel, we are far from a one man team... Mane is a massive outlet for us and we missed him against burnley, I reckon our players thought it was gonna be an easy 3 points after smashing the champions.

I think Milner did himself proud on Friday, I'm hoping Gomez isn't made of glass like Sturridge as he looks like he's a decent player from the glimpses we've seen.
I would take Klopp's "work in progress" over Rogers "work in progress" anytime emphasis on the word progress X)

BTW anyone thinking the same as me that Lucas has been kept for comedy value??

Yeah i agree Moreno shouldn't be getting outed by a midfielder, a few games like Friday and I think that will be Milners new position. Especially with the competition for midfield < at last!!
Moreno is slightly better than downing at LB though X)
