Link to the Facebook group.

Don't turn this thread into a political debate, but just a link to those of voting age to join a group on facebook!

if this country had proportional representation, this might have an outside chance-under the current system,it has none.

I don't even know their policies *shrugs*

Too busy with final year to read up about the elections.

Seriously?? The Lib Dem leader has a good debate and people want to start voting for them? Politics is reduced to the same level as a Xmas number one battle???

I agree.
Yes Clegg did well last night but that's no reason to suddenly jump on their band wagon. Cameron played it too low key and needs to 'Fire Up The Quattro' for next week's debate by picking up the pace if he wants to keep up his general lead and have impact during these debates. Brown just decided to bitch with Cameron and then side with Clegg which clearly shows he is wanting to side with the Lib's in the event of a hung parliament which is probably the best scenario Labour can hope for now.

Show your support for David Cameron by instructing your Butler to wear a Tory pin badge on his lapel.

It's like dumbed down politics x factor style isn't it. A lib dem govt, god no.........
#16
a little bit of me has just died on the inside, the latest you guv poll puts the lib dems in 2nd place on 30%, tories on 33% and lab in 3rd on 28%. it's the first time a sitting govt has dropped to 3rd place in a general election poll since polling began in the 30's apparently.

At this rate I wouldn't be suprised if the winner of BGT got elected.

Liberals FTW ............prohibition doesnt work. Their policy on drugs reform is enough for me to base my decision on:lol:

Hung Parliament FTW tbh

Nick Clegg will appear to 'win' a lot of the debates simply because he can attack both the Torries and Labour for their previous mistakes while they have been in power. As the Lib Dems have never been in power Cameron and Brown have effectively 'not got anything on him'.

People really underestimate you on here. You're like BG1, just more intelligent!

The main reason for not voting Lib dem is lets be honest they are in la-la land. All the promises, such as class size, income tax bracket rises, are all way too expesive.

As for scrapping trident well with all the uncertantiy at the moment it screams nuke us we can't do anything back, they really think we are all going to hold hands, hug trees and sing heal the world don't they  Nice ideas totally out of this world though.

"uncertantiy at the moment"??? wtf?

also gotta love the "we should have them just incase" mentality

npt= we got them, no one else should.

not hatting anyone, just wanting world peace:)

That's not going to happen, nice idea but no it won't happen. That's what I mean it's hippy politics, it would be lovely if we could all get a long but as long as humans are here it won't happen, so you need a deterrent, standing in the world stark naked is asking for trouble:thumbsup:

gerbil says lets get JFK into office.

hippy politics:lol:

yeah coz having nukes is gonna stop someone from nuking our tiny island.....

It is hippy politics, they think that we are all going to live in harmony, and have smaller class sizes and lower taxes, and we will be a slave to the EU.

I'd rather see the Tories win TBH.
