Have you checked the signal strength? Are you up for getting up on the ladders and moving the dish :|

If you get the chance try pick up a old 60cm or even a 80cm dish, you sometimes pick them up on the carboots, and they will help when there is bad weather in your area.

Saying that, thats if you ca put one up that size in the first place.

LOL... Though I have one not much smaller than that FS ATM

Sounds like dish has been put out of alignment slightly, though without knowing if there is any signal, it could be the LNB or cable worked loose.

Yeah, I think I saw that, my dad sounded interested in it, I guess postage would be a pain though.

All my Sky+ recordings from Friday are distorted and fuzzy. I assumed th box had crashed yet again, but could have been the weather.

Get a bigger dish installed.

I think the larger (60cm) Sky dishes are known as 'Zone 2' dishes.

Thats a pity. Its still sitting in the garden awaiting a new home. Will probably try one of the satellite forums.
