Hi Guys and Girls

I got married last August and it will be our first wedding anniversary soon.

I've already decided to take her away for the weekend but it is more for both of us really. Does anybody have any ideas of soemthing nice I can get her or do? I don't want to spend much more than £30 as we're already going away. Something romantic would be good.

Thanks

Have you thought about using moo.com to personalise some romatic cards or stickers? I got some done for my sister after her wedding and she absolutely loves them. You can get a book of 90 stickers for about £4.95 (i think) and you can upload your own photo's and move them around until you get the stickers you like. You don't have to use 90 different photo's as they will just multiply the the number of photo's until they get 90. They also do mini cards and they are like rectangular business cards. You can again personalise the photo's on the front and writing on the back. You can also just put text on the front also, so could make up your own love tokens or put your favourite phrases or special words on them. Slightly unusual but I've always found them to be of great value. Also, with the mini cards they do, you can buy a frame for them. I think it takes about 20 different mini cards in and you can rearrange them in the frame to different ways.

I don't know if that would interest you, but it was the first idea that came off my head. I think it can be incredibly romantic as it's something you've created yourself with a very professional finish.

Good luck in finding something, and congratulations on your first year of marriage. :)

arrange for a scrapbook to be made of your first year together; gather photos, written memories, tickets/maps from places you've been etc and have them put in a scrapbook. Great if she's sentimental, romantic etc as it's unique and really personal.

I like this idea as photos are made of paper and paper is the gift for your first anniversary

Well don't necessarily scrap book it then, just get the photos printed free with snapfish or photobox or jessops, buy a nice photo album and beside the photos just write little notes of where you were, with who, when etc. She'll love it.

have a look at Gems TV online they do auctions I have had some absolutely amazing peices for less than £30, I have an amberpendant and Ruby ring a garnet ring and a fire opal and none of them were over £30 all 9 ct gold too, be careful though the pendants do not include the chain, I also bought a gold chain which is the strongest one I have ever had
