Hey guys!

My brother's getting married in three weeks. He lives with his fiancee and their baby that is a few months old. So they have the usual house stuff.

I would like to get them something that they could keep but am stumped!!

Anyone got any wedding present ideas? Any good ones they received themselves?

thanks!!

they'd not go on holiday with the baby, nor without the baby. they're not having a honeymoon either coz of that

what about a voucher for a professional photoshoot of the 3 of them and they get to keep the framed pics?

I like this idea too - something they'll always have and let's face it - we all delight in photographs of our children :) If they've bought instead of hired their wedding day clothes then they could use that in the shoot too (or is that too cheesy - I drive my daughter mad with photographs of her everywhere (even downstairs loo  LOL) )

How about a voucher for day at a spa or overnight stay at a nice hotel and as part of the voucher deal you look after baby whilst they're off relaxing (or whatever). And if you do give them a hotel voucher you might get a neice or nephew out of it 9 months later!!

Digital photo frame, that way they can put the wedding pics on.

Get him a bar of gold or gold coins.

Has great novelty value (who wouldn't like some gold) and i'm led to understand doesn't lose value. Like giving cash but also a fun gift all rolled into one.

ask em what they need x x

If they're a couple who have everything get them a nice bottle of champagne or something a little luxurious so they can keep it or enjoy it as part of their wedding day x x

I was best man for one of my friends last year and as i arranged to do the monoply bar crawl round london for his stag party (baiscally have a drink in a bar on every square of the monoploly board) and since they joked they played the game and allways argue who wins i got them this

http://www.mymonopoly.com/home.php

It basically a customisable monopoly board, so change each of the normal streets to mean something from them, so there schools, pubs they went round, places where they had worked and they the hotel and wedding venue. they loved it and its so unique to them!! and think well worth the money!!

hey guys thanks for the ideas.

I've asked them what they need/want and they say they dont know (useless!). I did tell them they should have a wedding list but they thought it was cheeky. I used to too til I knew a few folk getting married and LOVED the ones that had lists!! SO much easier for the guests. And I certainly didnt feel as a guest that it was cheeky of them. I've told my brother and sister-in-law to be they'll end up with 10 toasters!
