yep card and gift although i usually just pop £30 in a card it is easier and that way they can choose what they want.

Yeah I think money is the best to give as they will have a lot of things and this way they can buy what they like :)

Depends on how well you know them.

A card will usually suffice, there'll be a table set out for the guestbook, just leave it there.

Maybe a gift voucher to a department store if you want to buy something.

Couples usually have some form of list at some store?

Ask them if they have a list you can choose from.

If they dont have a list you can choose from... get a gift voucher for their favourite store?

I never put money in cards.....always cheques after presents of cash have gone missing.....you wouldn't believe it I know but just to be cautious.......

Speaking from experience, cash is usually very much appreciated so it can go towards the honeymoon or a new sofa or something - whatever they need.
Don't have to give much though cos its only the evening do - £20 should do it I think if they arent very close.

I'd go with a voucher over cash because then they'll have to go buy something for themselves as a gift, instead of putting it towards day to day things such as bills or food.

Or just take a card and tag with your name on then at the reception find the biggest pressie take the tag off it and put yours on!

most of them were irish ( 50 odd) and they tend to give a lot don't ask me why though just different over there i suppose, on the other hand got one bottle of wine from 4 people and 2 didn't even give a card so there is a large difference to what everyone thinks is the right thing. Anyway just have a good time that is what it is really all about isn't it .:friends:
