I dont remember a bigger game between these two, a game that will affect both teams chances of winning the premier league this season.

0-0 @ 9/1 with Bet365 for the City/United game. Pretty good value for money or for a little back up bet!
lets hope its a thriller, but these games sometimes dont produce so worth a few golden nuggets.

Liverpool 2 Wigan 0

Yeah i think Liverpool will win quite comfortably, a couple weeks can make all the difference. Wigan will be up for it as they are fighting against the prospect of being relegated but anfield is never an easy place to go.

City and Newcastle double @ 17/1 ive gone for :D
#5
Man Utd to lose then Arsenal to **** it up again an hour later! :D
banned#6
ha! we have wolves aswell who are bound to fancy their chances after last weekend. Cant see it happening though. Mind you, with our massive game with barca coming up in the week he may not start a full first team.
#7
After last weeks results whats the chances of there being very few goals in the prem this week?

Villa players high on confidence and Blackpool on a slippery slope will hopefully lead to a Villa win. Can't believe how quick Liverpool are rising and Blackpool are dropping.

City won't win the League, Full of dreamers, may be next year, I do think it'll be a good game though, perhaps with a little drama.

Either way I can guarantee on Monday United will still be top with a game in hand over City :D

Everyone will won't City to win to keep it more open, I hope that doesn't happen.

I hope for an entertaining match, Not like the bore draw we witnessed in the previous encounter.

i think the top 6 will probably finish as it is, it is amazing how quickly things can turn around though.
When you do your goals galore greg do you bet both teams to score or a goal in each half?

As an arsenal fan this is one of the games im relying on for you to drop points. Especially after that bonus 3 you dropped last weekend lol

Goals galore is both teams to score.

Quick glance

Blackpool
Sunderland
Blackburn
Utd (possibly)
Norwich
Watford
QPR

I noticed in coral you could do a goal in each half also..

Blackpool games always seem to end in goals and QPR. Ferdinand will be out for the utd game also which is massive.

If we play as badly as we did against Wolves we won't win anything, I believe we'll bounce back though and Arsenal will drop point's anyway.

I think if we beat City they'll be out of it, it'll just be between United and Arsenal, You'll probably have the advantage of being knocked out by Barca though..!!! If it's any consolation I think you'll win the Carling Cup..!!!.
#15
If you do goals galore a tip would don't be too greedy, just under 5/1 for three games is a good return and I like the fact that your bet stays live until the 90th minute and beyond some times. If you are watching / listening to live Saturday football it's great for the 90 minutes.

Is the Coral one either team or the same team to score in both halves?

We have an easier run left lookin at the fixtures. you still have to play chelsea twice, liverpool(at anfield) and us at the emirates.. by no means over yet.

yeah 5/1 is a reasonable bet, i would also probably chuck a quid on 5 or 6 teams aswell just for fun. i always have my main bet and a few little ones. Not really done a goals galore before but a few people i know have been winning on them and like you say bets live until the final whistle late oals are always coming in.

It was just ''a goal or more'' to be scored in each half. doesn't matter who by. Right next to it they have ''both teams to score'' all on the same sheet.
#18
What are the odds on the coral one then?

i cant remember off the top of my head, i had 4 teams once had £2 on was like £20 odd back.

I know this but Arsenal will still drop point's they always do, If they don't drop too many points they've got a good chance but it's ours to lose, If we beat City then hopefully we'll get into 5th gear which is crucial.

Well i look forward to it. I dont think mancini can afford to park the bus as anything other than a win for them will put them out of the race.

Both Sleepy boy and his equally strange sidekick transit have made the claim (along with global domination.) To be fair, I dont think anyone took the comments too seriously on account of the fact its clear they are both not the full ticket. (they both continually boasted you'd finish in the top 4 last season at the expense of "little Spurs". The only comeback from sleepy boy was that he enjoyed seeing a Spurs fan punched after he'd jumped up when the winner went in. I laughed!)

I think they are not alone on here being rather deluded, just looking at some of the posted threads over the past few days , and it comes as standards for some ..

As for sleepy boy and transit, I actually find them quite amusing.. infact some days I laugh at some of your posts ;)

Do spill DogCop. I go out of my way NOT to make predictions for my team. Though i do enjoy continually telling Ars*nal fan we are actually still in the race for a top four spot. And whilst I was guilty of talking about the draw of the FA cup before we'd got through, I did cover my backside saying well probably be knocked out..... And we were.

Guv, I cant be specific on posts but some that you have posted in the 3 yrs or more have made me laugh at times, its more of a general observation than a criticism, some of sleepy boys posts likewise do make me snigger as I am sure he does it to get a bite, and some do.

As for making wild outlandish predictions about City, you learn over years of having your dreams shattered by dire managment/players etc, the some flashes of brilliance from team/players, that its goes hand in hand, but I know I am blue through and through, which is all that worries me, but those who hand it out about City will always get some back, and those who now hate City or claim they are wrecking the game due to the money they have invested in buying players etc, again I care not a jot.

The game has been wrecked in one way or another for years, ie.. Saturday is the day for football.. television companies now setting the fixture list was part of the slippery slope .. still one good thing those clowns Keys and Grey have gone so one good thing.. not that I pay to Sky ;)

So come back sleepy boy I miss your banter :D

Of course things ive posted would have made you laugh. It was meant to! (Or try to get a nice juicy bite!) And I would probably guess that most members have made comments that you'd thought... "Woooah" at. Im opinionated. Im vocal...... So guilty as charged. What you wont see of course is the huge amount of laughing out loudly on this side of the screen. I goes without saying that cuts both ways I guess.

Much of what you say about football being ruined and supporting your team etc is all true. But whilst not caring about the money thing, it will interesting times ahead from next season when the club fair play thing comes in.

PS I have 2 fully paid Sky HD subs. (that will be revised shortly!)

26 - Johan Djourou is unbeaten in his last 26 Premier League games, the longest current run in the division. Invincible.

Don't worry everyone, Song and Djourou should be back tomorrow, so no more throwing away 4 goal leads :). I expect the United-City game to be a bore draw, with City again showing a lack of any kind of ambition and acknowledging they are the weaker side, like against us, but I'm hoping they can hit United on the break and get the win like they did against Chelsea.

No one of any significance. Just some numpty Citeh fan who predicted Top 4 football last season and Global domination from this season who then complained he was being bullied when people started pointing out the failures. He's still around, this thread is amusing and gives a slight gist... petal.
#40
Why did that guy stop posting? He was good to laugh at.

Apparantly United will be missing Ferdinand tomorrow, but also Evans which is probably a good thing for them as he is woeful. So that means Smalling will have to come in, if City have a go and take the lead before going so defensive I think they might be able to win.
