I have just booked a weekend away for myself and my boyfriend in Bremen, Germany.

Has anyone been? What is there to do?

Should you have not checked what it was like before booking?

Places to go here

Not too sure about the first one but the Becks brewery tour sounds better.

Bremen Town Hall (Rathaus)
Neues Museum Weserburg Bremen
St. Peter's Cathedral (St. Petri Dom)
Beck's Brewery Tour
Kunsthalle Bremen
Bremen Casino
Gerhard Marcks Haus
Heimatmuseum Schloss Schonebeck
Kunstsammlungen Bottcherstrasse
Thank the Becks factory and casino sound good lol
It was raining when I went, can't remember much of it just had lots of shops in the centre and lots of really old churches and buildings

Gorgeous pics Lumor. A friend of mine went to Bremen earlier this year, he sent me a piccy of the statue of the Bremen Town Musicians by the Brothers Grimm... OP have you heard the story? It was one of my favourite folk tales when I was a child, lemme find you a link :)

If your trip is in the run up to Christmas (November onward) then you should find that the town centre is one big German Christmas market which is complemented very nicely by the old town buildings and Cathedral. If you're a football fan then you could try to see Werder Bremen play who are compared to Arsenal for having a fluid watchable style of football.
Went last week. It was pretty boring...
