I'm thinking of going to one. anyone reccommend one or know one thats meant to be good. prices are very expensive so defo dont want to waste money.

boot camps are for a week only. biggest loser is over many weeks. with three little uns i cant go for long..al;though that would be awesome!

Look at it as, if you don't spend your money going there, you'll only waste it on food you don't need

im defo not stressing about money in the sense that its too much to go, more that if im paying so much i want to chose the correct place.

well in the week ur looking at a dress size or about half a stone. overall i got loads to lose....a good 4 stones to get back to pre babies weight! they teach u ways to eat/excercise bla bla which should help. just hoping the experience might have both a short and long term effect

one of my friends has lost 4 stone in 6 months with Lighter Life. Personally MB I dont think its healthy to lose it so fast. Its quite expensive on Lighter LIfe as all your meals are sent to you every week

a camp isnt gonna help u with anything u couldnt do urself with a little research. u got any gyms local to u? go in sign up and have a word with a PT and nutritionist which they always have on hand. goin to camp for a week will prolly lose u ur dress size but most put 2 back on in the following months

I remember that story - just awful. I think females get so badly affected mentally when they are over weight compared to men. I was really overweight at start of last year but joined WW and lost it - its sooooooooooo hard though to keep it off !!

MB maybe one of them camps will get you kick started - but what about looking for a personal trainer? That way your not leaving your kids............or your wee baby!

i started at gym and doing paul mckenna which is slooowly working...at times. ikwym that 7lbs in a week isnt azll fat but water as well, but gotta wedding in june as well, so it be good to shed a little extrta by then. also at boot cAMP u get all this info and 1 to 1 sessions.

the british heart foundation diet is a gooden if you try that. Can even still eat ice cream :)

i sorta dont mind focusing 100% on me for a week to get on right path. even when i go gym im clock watching etc. ww is good but would love to try a boot camp

Stop eating samosas, chaaaval, roti and matai (esp with new baby) may help!! LOL :-D

hahaha!! not happening....blooming turned diabetic during pregnnacy and being extra careful since....still the weight refuses to shift!

i go to gym at least 4 times a week mostly 5 times a week for 1hr-2hrs and i hardly lose weight! clothes fit better but i actually put weight on some weeks and gym instructor said its prob muscle weight being heavier than fat but i want so drastic results as well continuing with my gym routine....

Rather than focussing on the weight, have you toned up at all? I'd be looking at toning and slimming rather than the numbers...

yea i have toned up well im always toned anyways, people say you look good blah blah blah you look like you've lost weight but i dont see it i actually wanna lose weight where i can see a massive difference! i've been trying to for the past 7 years :shock: and i've just remained the same size......

my OH says im too hard on myself and i'm fine but i dont think im at a healthy weight even though im quite fit health wise plus BMI says im overweight but i dont trust that stuff cos my bro is just pure muscle all over and same weight as me and hes overweight too apparently :?
i just find it hard sometimes that i spend all that time at gym and no massive result

sundays- i do body attack then body pump
monday- rpm
tuesday- body attack
wednesday- tai bo
thursday- body pump or take day off to recover
friday- body attack then body pump
saturday- hardly go saturdays but if i go i just use the machines at gym for an hour

and its not like i'm being lazy with exercise for my body bump i do:
4.5kg on each side of bar warm up
11kg on each side of bar for squats ( used to do 13 but stopped cos doc said i had a loose patella so my knee hurts with too much weight and shifts regularly :-( , docs actually said i exercise too much :x )
6kg on each side of bar for chest
7kg on each side of bar for back
4.5 on each side for triceps and biceps
lunges i just hold 2.5kg on each side cos of bad knee
shoulders 2.5 kg on each side of bar

if you want to loose weight you need to do it the right way, not all at once!my best advice from being on weight watchers the most i lost in a week was 4lb and i only weighed 10.2 stone anyway, never once did any exercise(because im too lazy and always had a takeaway once a week!took me about 2 and half months to loose a stone, i stopped doing the ww diet in july last year and yes my weight is creeping back up have put on 9lb so nearly at the weight i was before, point being the healthier way to loose it is this and you wont crash and pile it all back on again in a month!x

dunno how that isnt keeping the fat off u. some people just have to accept crappy genetics and make the best of what they have, dont mean to sound harsh in that its just the truth. we are all built differently. maybe u should focus more on improving shape to certain areas of ur body ur not happy with instead of all the cardio ur doing.

i know im just hoping a miracle happens this summer :w00t: OH doesnt even do as much exercise as i do and he never puts on any weight guess im unlucky like that :x spent 2hrs at gym today he just did an hr of body attack and left me there

i would just like to say you seem very hard on yourself!!someone like you who is this strict will never be happy with the way you look, you may have goals you set for yourself but when you get there i dont think you will be happy with your result, i applaud you tho for having so much willpower to continue what you are doing if you feel you are not getting anywhere. what are you not happy with?

mainly tum and boobs just want them off! i love my legs other bits like arms and thighs could do with being smaller not much fat just bigger than i want them to be :?

i dont think im hard on myself if i dont go to gym regularly i'll put on weight its as simple as that but i do agree that i'll prob never be happy with the way i look till i get drastic change you know those ones where people stand next to their clothes and you can see a massive difference? but yea 2008 i went to gym a lots like i do now got toned and all and then i didnt go gym for a while and didnt join gym again till summer 2009 cos i realised i'd put on weight cos i got with OH but when i looked at my old photos i thought i was much slimmer back then even though i didnt think i'd lost any weight at the time thing is my clothes size hasnt changed much i just go down half a size or something but its still between the same 2 clothes sizes i've been wearing since i was 13 or 14 years old :? boobs got bigger so i have to go up in size on the top sometimes

thick toned thighs are sexy as are big boobs so dont touch those =] id work out a decent core strengthening regime. It will tone up and take inches off ur waist. Cut out a day or 2 of ur cardio and see a PT or google core excercises. Planks, side planks superman etc are all great but there are loadsss. Put a plan together for urself

i wasnt trying to offend you, you seem very determined in what your doing and like i said i applaud you for having such willpower, i know i couldnt(because i love takeaways to much lol)so if your wearing 13-14yr old clothes you must be quite small framed??xx

I'm almost jelous of slighty heavy people I'm really skinny allways have been I've been accoused of having eating disorders loads of times it drives me nuts I just can't put weight on no matter what I eat my bmi is 16.5
