Weight loss question

Hi,

Ok so I've been dieting for 4 weeks. In the first two weeks I lost weight off my face and hands. After this, the weight on my face and hand began to fluctuate going up and down. On the whole I am still loosing weight.

I know that the face and hands are the first place to lose weight as the fat is thinnest and easiest for the body to access but what I need to know is that when the face and hand fat has been used, does the body replace it with belly fat so it is easily accessible for the body to use.

Haha.

Are you asking if your belly fat moves up to your face? Don't think so...

The fluctuation is probably due to water retention in those areas. Make sure you keep well hydrated.

No, your fat does not move around your body to compensate...^^

As you get older sometimes your body shape changes. I am the same weight I was ten years ago but I am wearing clothes a lot bigger!. Not as toned maybe!

I am wondering how much weight you are losing to notice that much difference?

I've lost about 6 kg in 4 weeks. First 2 kg was very easy. After that I've lost about 1 kg a week. They are only subtle changes but for example, I can fit a ring on my finger very comfortable one week and not so easily the next.

That definitely sounds more like differences due to water retention rather than weight loss, as Shadow-360 said. I have to take some of my rings off at certain times of the month.

Just for anyone who is still wondering, after many more KG's lost, I have come to the conclusion that it is down to proportions. I was loosing weight from my neck and shoulders which made my face look like it was gaining weight!

Thank you all for your help!
