Just received an e-mail:

Good morning,

We have received a parcel for you, sent from France on July 9. Please fill out the customs declaration attached to this message and send it to us by mail or fax. The address and the fax number are at the bottom of the declaration form.

Kind regards,
Erich Mcmullen

With a zip file attachment, obviously haven't opened it but yahoo can't find a virus. Wondering if it's a scam or a virus or something? Maybe it's a keylogger?

Probably find they want a million and one details from you.......
Address pos bank details etc.
All parcel firms leave a card/note at you home address to show they have attempted delivery

Had 3 of these through at work this week in my junkmail.....It's def a scam..was it supposedly from FedEx or DHL or similar ?

I'm sure if it was a genuine email, a customs dec would be sent as a PDF rather than in a zipped folder :-D

Could've got it from someone I've bought from, although I don't think I've bought anything from France, and if I did it wouldn't be due tax anyway!

Please help me guys! I have $1million to give away! All I need from you is your name, account details, sort code, address, telephone numbers and the name of your favourite pet! :P

If you really want to open it, go in a public place, don't use your own PC! But rather be safe than sorry and delete it!

If it was sent pretending to be from UPS it's a virus

Yes def dodgy. I keep getting this one with a zipped invoice.

Unfortunately we were not able to deliver postal package you sent on July the 1st in time because the recipient’s address is not correct.
Please print out the invoice copy attached and collect the package at our office

Your UPS

Just keep chucking them in my junk box.

Attention Virus Warning

Service Update

We have become aware there is a fraudulent e-mail being sent that says it is coming from UPS and leads the reader to believe that a UPS shipment could not be delivered. The reader is advised to open an attachment reportedly containing a waybill for the shipment to be collected.

This e-mail attachment contains a virus. We recommend that you do not open the attachment, but delete the e-mail immediately.

UPS may send official notification messages on occasion, but they rarely include attachments. If you receive a notification message that includes an attachment and are in doubt about its authenticity, please contact https://www.ups.com/forms/e-mail/general_intl?loc=en_gb.

Please note that UPS takes its customer relationships very seriously, but cannot take responsibility for the unauthorised actions of third parties.

Thank you for your attention.

Definately a hoax email

Should be fairly easy for the authorities to trace, the sender has been stupid enough to put their name at the bottom of the e-mail!
