Think I'm turning into an emotional 'softy' as I get older.
I was quite surprised at myself as I struggled to hold back the tears after reading this story. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-28617912
Don't really know why it upset me so much.
Thought we were supposed to get more 'heartless' and 'grumpy' as we got older, why the heck am I 'wimpy' and 'weepy'?

"May this selfish and heartless couple be exposed and shamed for this horrible neglect!" one comment read.

Not only exposed and shamed but give the surrogate baby to a deserving family and jail them both and on release ban them from having any contact with a minor.

Yes I understand the frustration of not being a parent - my former (now deceased wife) could not provide children though we both wanted, at the same time as being seen by specialist for IVF etc she got diagnosed with another illness and any chance of children, either our own or adoption, was taken away. We then travelled the world and UK as best we can to enjoy our time together (20 years of loving happiness) until her time was up. Yes I'm a father now but not as how I would like to be but that's another story.

But I would never attempt to deceive or illegally become a father - there are plenty of options for desperate parents and plenty of desperate children needing loving parents. No excuses this couple need to learn a lesson the hard way to ensure others who are thinking about doing similar stuff will be deterred.

Good luck to the mother and Gammy all the world loves you (except one selfish couple)

That's just awful. Choking on my fish finger sandwich over here. Hope the baby is okay and that they don't get to keep his sister.
