This was an email sent back from when i reported the buyer of my mobile:

Thank you for taking the time to let us know regarding your buyer
"*******_***" for the mobile phone you listed, item number
************.
We take reports of malicious bidding very seriously. I'm very sorry to
hear the buyer hasn't paid for the item you sent to them.

I've checked this item on our system. It was bought by a third party
using an eBay member's account [U without their permission. It's likely
the
unauthorised user found out the account password using a spoof email.
Unfortunately we weren't made aware of this until after the listing had
ended.

Once we became aware of this unauthorised activity, we took immediate
action and we are now working to restore the account to its original
owner as soon as possible. For privacy reasons, I can't share any
further details regarding this member's account. However, I assure you
that we are doing everything we can to ensure that eBay remains a safe
and reputable place to buy and sell.

What happens now?

I have contacted the appropriate department to credit the Insertion and
Final Value Fees for your item. Please don't file an Unpaid Item
Dispute
for this item as it was not the account holder who bought the item.

You're welcome to list the item again if you would like. Simply go to
My
eBay and click the "Relist" option in the drop-down menu next to the
item.

The mobile wasnt sent.

Thanks you so much, rep def added to you. :santa:

Merry Xmas Dino matey

I see there are still 10 other people who have been scammed by this guy. It was 12 earlier on.

If you look at his recent feedback, you will see he left feedback within a day of buying other expensive items, even though the items had to come from China, Germany and the US to Lithuania. He did this so other sellers would think he is trustworthy and a quick payer.
#6
LOL well done guys :) Dino seemed pretty concerned for your well-being saxo, to break his silence on the forums. :-D

Hi Emma :-D

I feel sorry for the other sellers who don't know yet :-(
#8
I could say it's not your concern Steve. If they post items out, will eBay refund them?

You are dead right, it's not my concern, but I wish ebay would do more. :-(
If the sellers have already posted the items, they will not get it back and the money will go back to where it came from. :-( :-(

Do you think i should leave a negative feedbakc to warn other people.
How do you get that 40 character words again?
#11
Welcome back Dino. Merry Christmas to you.

You can leave a neg but when ebay remove you from his buying history the neg and all mention of this trade will vanish.

You may have to log in, but if you do the easiest way to do this is log in here:-
http://feedback.ebay.com.hk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?GetAndShowTransactions&item=0&nflw=1&page=1

Then click on this link again. You will see a box on the top left. Put the item number in it and click enter.
On ebay uk you can only leave a 80 character feedback, on ebay Hong Kong you can leave 125 character feedback.

You are right :-( I cancel at least one bid and block one person every week. You have to be alert and sorry to say you need to look for a 'scammer' on every bid or purchase you receive.
I 'check' every bidder/buyer out as much as I can before I post the item to them.

Dino maybe you should right out different stages from the start of selling something or buying something to the end.
Like a stage by stage guide and maybe Admin will have it as a sticky at the top of the forum.
This would help alot of people, i just cant thank you enough for warning me about what could have happened

All feedbacks relating to this hijacked account will be removed by ebay. Although, they seem to be taking a long time with this account. :-(
Have you refunded the payment?

He left you feedback to try and appear genuine.
