Well done to Liverpool FC (the people's fav club). Top of the league ma

Well done to Liverpool. 3-0 at Half time. Top of the league. As someone, we know predicted, the title race may be all over by Christmas. Be afraid, be very afraid.

I would like them to do it but where is your source that says that all those other clubs think you will win it?!

What? No I mean the fans of each of those teams say "this year is our year" lfc have never had the financial clout as them other teams and tbh not much European football in the last 8 years.

ah! Sorry thought you were saying that other fans were saying it about Liverpool! Hopefully, like Leicester, not being in Europe will be an advantage to them this season.

Difference is teams are up for beating Liverpool not so much Leicester as most teams last year always thought they could beat them and I think that mind set lost teams games against Leicester who were amazing let's not take anything away from them.

Only 3 teams in it this year it seems, Chelsea city and lfc.

Teams that can't keep clean sheets never win the league. Spurs still unbeaten.

That's just wishful thinking as Arsenal are in the mix and Spurs are hardly out of it.
Tightest at the top than I can ever recall.

And teams like Leicester last season never win the league either. :|

Spurs still unbeaten.
Teams that draw a lot of games will really struggle to win the league with 3 points for a win. ;)

I'm not a spurs fan btw, I just think at 20/1 they are a cracking bet

Liverpool are far from the 'people's favourite club'. I'm pretty much a neutral (my team are garbage, and not in the PL), but Liverpool fans make it very hard to like the club.

However to the point, I doubt they will win it with this Keegan'esque attitude that they will simply outscore people. You don't win the league unless you can defend, Liverpool are incapable of defending. They won't be scoring 6 every week, nor will they be playing a team that will defend as poorly as Watford did, every week.

City are only a point behind and they haven't really got going yet. Chelsea look strong, Arsenal and Spurs both capable. I find it hard to believe it'll be Liverpools year.

How many did they score at Arsenal? They’ve not lost to one of the big clubs yet either and they’ve already played a lot of them and mainly away.

Really! Considering the start they had that’s so clearly not true. Man City have shown themselves to be a team that struggle to kill a game off at times. You don’t win a league often by drawing lots of games.

Of those 4 teams Chelsea and Liverpool and the only two that have either won or been in contention on the last day in recent years.
I don’t see Liverpool as favourites but they are just as capable as winning it as Arsenal and Spurs.

No, clearly it's true, stumbling and struggling against teams like Middlesborough, drawing with Southampton and Everton at home. They haven't got going yet.

Being just as capable as Spurs or Arsenal doesn't win you the league, that means at least two teams are more capable than all 3. Chelsea, and City. Hence why City are favourites.

I could put City as slight favourites but there are so many new factors with new managers etc that it doesn't seem safe to call it so I say one of the top 4 plus Spurs as slight outsiders.

Or maybe that's just where they're at this season, nobody knows yet.

Time will tell.

One thing's for sure, for a neutral (as far as the PL goes) this could be the most exciting season .... well, since the PL was created. 5 teams could take it all the way, that would be superb.

The big difference from this year to the last title challenge was that we have a winner and a big game manager in Jurgen Klopp. Last time, it was more the case of Rodgers saying pass it to Suarez and let him do something X)

Anyway, I'm just enjoying the season, not getting carried away. Loving how the team is not reliant on one player and everyone chipping in.

Defensively, it's just lack of concentration and individual mistakes. We're not getting torn apart. I do wish he gives sakho another chance. Sakho and Matip would make a good combination.

Shame international break has come in the way of our momentum. But seeing as it's going to be England vs Scotland I'll let FIFA off :p

City have not dominated a single season since they came into money; both titles were won on the last day.
They have looked like they could dominate at times but it never came to pass so let's not get carried away and make them strong favourites.
I wouldn't bet against them this season but Pep is a newcomer to the Premiership so let's see how he does.
