Congrats and well done to South Africa.

Every time England asked a question of SA, SA had a suitable answer, be it thru determination, discipline, guile, skill or just that little something extra winners have.

Each time SA put England under any pressure they had no way of handling it and taking hold of the game.

Despite the bowling attack not being great at times I think it was the batting which really let England down. Besides Alastair Cook who consistently got decent run totals, all the top order batmen of England failed miserably. Literal handfuls of runs from the likes of Vaughan, Strauss, Pieterson(apart from a couple of innings) and Bell(the same) .... then they leave out Stuart Broad who averaged 60 at no.7!

There was just not enough decent scores for the bowling attack to aim at restricting SA to.

Taxi for Mr.Vaughan!

Don't you just hate it when people from Scotland, Ireland and Wales cheers when the English get beaten.
A very good friend of mine used to cheer for any team that was playing against England rather than cheer for England itself. He was Irish but was happy to live and work in England. Just wouldn't support them. Made me sick even though he was a mate of mine.

It's the same all over I guess, like when certain ethnic minorities moan about not liking the UK but enjoy the benefits of the social service and better standard of life for example. People want their cake and eat it too, yet the English(and rest of UK fyi) take it all with grace and good humour... usually lol

I for one don't mind it.
