West Ham a premier league team?

Coming from a west ham supporter.

Currently watching the West ham vs liverpool game on espn and can honestly say that this is one the poorest if not the poorest performances of the season.

Theres no team work, no confidence, no self belief in the team.

some really poor quality players in the team who are just useless.
Carlton cole should give up all together, Illunga has no clue, Boa morte has no clue.

Just the whole team just look like they have no idea what their doing as if they haven't even been training. And I suppose you can blame the players but it also falls on the manager and I don't think he's right for the team and we need someone young, fresh with some new ideas for the team.

Overall I think the team needs some serious investment to survive this season because at the moment it likes we'll be a championship club next season and I think we'll struggle to get back up.

Whats everyones thoughts?

I'm sure they wont be a premier league team next season. (Not sure if that's what you were after, but I'm confident it will be the case.

Green, can turn it on if he wants but lacks confidence with his back 4

Gabbidon, no way should he play full back, he is questionable at CB these days.

Illunga, his first season was great but these days looks out of form and a shadow of the player he was.

Upson, Don't see why people ever rated him, Da Costa is better in my eyes.

Jacobsen, Hes done well since he came in and has kept Spector out the side otherwise it would be worse.

Noble, great partner for Parker, seeing the best of him now but team don't exactly help.

Boa Morte, This clown shouldn't be playing for WHU, nothing against the guy but he just isn't good enough, he would struggle to get into a first 11 in the championship.

Kovac, see above.

Piquionne, Good bit of business but needs a decent partner.

Cole, Nowhere near the player he can be, he can't control the ball at the moment which wasn't a problem last season. Not a goal scorer.

Obinna, The guy cant shoot, lots of flair, great runs which is what we need but he just cant shoot.

West Ham are a premier league team though, they have had a tough 1/3 of a season, if you look at the fixtures the second 19 games look easier.

I think we will scrape through but have to admit it doesn't look great at the moment.

Should have gone down last year they got just 35 points if im right ? any other season they would go down in fact they have been lucky most seasons ever when they got out of the championship this was by luck.

When did West Ham last win away from home in the Prem?

Must be a loooong time ago now. I can't remember myself.

Negativity is West Ham's main problem.

By your theory would you class it unlucky that we went down with 42 points?

Why do you feel WHU were lucky to come back up?

Ouch........knew it was a while but didn't realise it was that long ago.

I think if they get rid of Grant they'll be fine.

The Sun got that spot on.

Pre season form was 6 wins 1 draw before he came and we have only won once in 14 since his appointment.

Ray Wilkins is free right?

Pre season means nothing. 2 Seasons ago we started off pre season thumping everyone and winning every game... after 8 games in the season we were bottom with 2 points (And numerous threads proclaiming Spurs are officially a laughing stock.)

Those threads have stopped now! X)

Don't get me wrong, i know pre season means next to nothing. We were playing some really good football though.

Some of the crap we've been playing the last few weeks has to have an explanation, i think this is it.

Hopefully Paul Groves or Kevin Keen will step up and get the players wanting to play football again.

We shall see the response on Saturday hopefully.

I'll give anything to have the season Spurs had when they had 2 points after 8 games.
