I have one and got one for my dad so far no problems great piece of kit, run my dads sky plus through it and upscale to 1080i, also allows him to record him sky plussed stuf to dvd when he wants to keep it and free up some space on box etc....only thing is I paid about 40 for it from ebuyer so might be worth shopping around for price etc

yeah your right bfjem, ebuyer has one with 160 gig hard drive for £74 only thing is that its a graded product thats been refurbed, ebuyer are pretty good with there returns etc so if i did get that one and it was doa im sure i wouldnt have a problem with replacing it.

I dont think mine was graded but it didnt have a hard drive...just straight dvd writer but takes all discs including DL so quite happy. ebuyer are very good with returns too sent a courier to pick up another product I wanted to return had a replacement within a few days!

whats the remote like? cant find a pic of one, is it big and bulky? also is the freeview part of it easy to use?

er Its quite small and light in my opinion pretty straightforward but im a bit of a techno nerd (programmer) so I dont know how valid my opinion of ease of use is. I would take a pic for you but my camera is somwehere in this flat and I cant find it lol
