Hi might sound a bit strange but does anyone know if theres a law to not let your dog outside constantly barking after 10pm? one of our neighbour has his dog out at the moment barking and is doing it to aggrivate people, this is just a part of a long going case we have against him too which has even gone to court

any help would be great

thanks

Yeh the courts are serving a injunction on the tennants on mon due to other trouble we have had with them. The housing association are going for eviction too
#9
there are civil laws regarding noise disturbance.i assume as its long running ppl are logging the time and location of these events to strenghten your case against the dogs owner/keeper.the alternative is brick his windows on a regular basis.not legal but infinitely more satisfying :o)

one of our other neighbours is a git, he plays crappy status quo every now and agian but he plays it that loud i hear it in the bath, in the kitchen and my living room and bedroom drives me abolutey potty

i remeber one time i was heavily pregnant i went down to his house and was banging on the door so hard the other neighbours come out(he had been playing his music from 8am and was now 6pm) and all he did was turn it up i swear if i wasnt preggers i would of kicked that door down

thing is its very random when he does it it can go on everyday for a week, but then you hear nothing for weeks then all of a sudden he will play it again for ages

drives me mental, i and some others have kept a diary but as its not conistant nothing gets done

Have you spoke to the police yet and explained the situation?
#22
doubt the police would do anything, we called them before and they told us to speak to enviromental health

WTF? Just because someone has been in jail doesn't mean they are not a nice person now!! It generally means that they wasn't a nice person at the time of the offence, people can AND DO (sometimes) change, glad not everyone thinks like you or I would be stuffed.

Looks like the neighbour is a nightmare, just gets my goat a bit though when someone says "he's been in prison so he must be.....blah". Its like cons say, people assume they will never change so why bother putting the effort in?|

You ok babe?

I know what you are saying.

My uncle is in the same position.

He is nearly 50 and he is still getting treated like a criminal for crimes he did nearly 30 years ago.

He hasn't been able to do what he wants to do with his life.

It is sad but he has to wait a long time for his record to be clean.

I am ok, I have been called a multi id and a racist on this forum this evening which is very strange.

Hope you are ok

I have a 1 year old son and he constantly cries after 10pm, if you lived next door to me, should I be worried?

Woofy dogs are a pain in the ass anytime of day or night and they should be made to wear a muzzle.

I agree, now get to bed :p

why do people always come out with "ring the police"?

Its not an offence so they can do nothing at all. It is an environmental health issue so ring the county council. Probably not worth the hassle now if they are due for eviction anyway.
