codec most likely, make sure they are up to date, try k-lite video codecs they work best for me

Nope, tryed 3 different players..
just downloaded some codecs, ill try the k lite codecs now..

Maybe its your graphics card drivers?

Then I would be looking at faulty hardware.

umm the codec im using is K-Lite at the moment, I was using CCCP
but neither worked..not sure what one specifically works for it!(otherwise i'd be playing it :D)

most likely your graphics card is either overheating or is on its way out. do the happen immediately or after a few minutes ?
