I am SO stuck this year with what to buy her..

She's a teacher so she gets loads and loads of candles, smellies & chocolates at Christmas..

Last year I got her a kettle and toaster because she needed them.

She doesn't need anymore jewellery, can't get her anything nice for the house really as her dogs wreck everything!!

Any original ideas please?

one of those digital photo frames would be good.

Thanks for the suggestions - I wish she didn't have those bloody dogs then there would be no problem.

I don't have any recent photos of the LO and my camera is broken, might see if I can borrow one. Or I could just get her a camera to take her own, she's pretty useless with technology mind

sickly I like that idea but we live in Cumbria, I don't think there are any here..might look into some others around the area..

Keep the suggestions coming people :)

box set dvds
cds
gardening stuff e.g herb garden kit
fav books
summer hat
scarves etc winter wear
kitchen stuff e.g. new stainless steel pans
sandwich press

surely you must know your mum's hobbies, likes etc

set of red pens ( joke, but I was always running out when I was a teacher - nicked by colleagues)

It's hell trying to get a good one isn't it!

I've got a reaaaally nice picture of my son and my niece - but I don't think the quality is good enough to get it a decent size :(

Whenever I cannot think of what to get, i get something 'disposable' so it doesn't matter if they don't like it or not, like booze or houseplants.

Ignore poor quoting!!
