Just finished my Risotto. It was delicious.

I am about to explode! Just back from a restaurant in Belfast called Beatrice Kennedy.

I had prawn and pork noodles for starters, cod creamy mash and peas for mains, and sticky toffee pudding for dessert.

It sounds like plain fare, but it was absolutely gorgeous - hgighly recommended to anyone in the vicinity of Belfast!

Any one for a wafer thin mint????? *pop*

University Road, near Queens Uni. Great grub (quite dear though - but worth it)

It's won lots of awards and stuff.

A pizza can be the most balanced food out of the lot, lots of dough(starch) moderate cheese(dairy group) lots of fruit/veg(tomatoe, argue which one it is, and if I can spell), hopefully moderate amounts of meat/fish(if no veggie) and bits of fat.

I:thumbsup: can't eat pizza, well one slice and me lactose intolerance kicks in.

Lovely Jubbly. Just finished some home made Lasagne. Had a shattering day - started work at 06:00, finished at 14:00 with no break and then drove to Gatwick which is a 3.5 hr return journey to pick up the in-laws.

Hope everyone has eaten well tonight?

Home made lasagne mmm love it :) My wife makes the best lasagne in the world :D

Had a tasty casserole today though ;) Another favourite of mine...

I've just had chicken nuggets, cocktail sausages, mini pizzas, mini sausage rolls, crisps, ham sandwiches, salad sandwiches, cheese sandwiches, rice crispy buns, marshmallows with smarties on top (top hats), viscounts, cup cakes, haribo...

Yeah, you guessed it, I was at a 3 year olds birthday party!!!
#23
LOL - bet you had a great time Emma. My Girlfriends parents are from the south west of Ireland and are staying with us for 2 weeks so I'm going to be living off meat and three veg for a little while.

I'm half Italian so need my Pasta regularly...
#24
vodka and red bull for me i hope...
#25
I'll be searching for leftovers in the fridge. I'll need to empty the fridge out very soon 'cos I'm off to Mauritius for 3 weeks next week, so I don't think that anyone should be feeling sorry for me having to scavenge for my dinner later on! 8-)

Later, I'll be preparing a slab of pork belly to turn it into crispy roast pork for tomorrow for my nephew's birthday - I'll also be preparing some pastry bits.
#26
Burgers =P

I'm just simple like that ...

Hmm, I actually want some of the food you've all been mentioning now!!
#27
Fish and chips for me tonight from the local. They're so good that the mother in laws mother insists on having them every year she comes over.

I'm starving actually but they won't be home for about 30 mins...

Do you think I should turn this thread into Greg's food blog?
#28
 Home made chicken casserole with mashed potatoes and home grown runner beans.
#29
I think I'm actually going to start a sister site called Hotukmeals.com. What does everyone think?
