Was using my puter today, and I noticed that it was running quite slow. So I done a few speed tests on it, and Virgin have "capped" my speed down to a quarter.
I called them up, and the guy basically told me that they had capped it, and to try and not use it for 4-5 hours, as I was putting a load on the server, along with other people who may be using their broadband service...
I am on the L - Large broadband service 10mb, and speed is down at less than 2.5KBs.
Are they allowed to do this? I didn't think it was a "fair usage" policy. I thought it was "unlimited" that meant unlimited???
Who do you use, how much does it cost you, what is your speed, and it is capped?
