When people are not considerate for the other drivers, i..e motorway driving. Theres 3 or 4 lanes and and people dont move lanes to allow for the faster vehicles

Also, people not moving when the traffic lights have turned green - thats so frustrating to see when you are near the back and its just not moving

I hate it when I'm doing the speed limit, coasting along on a lovely day, the roads are all clear for seemingly miles... then suddenly a car appears as if by magic right up your backside. You know for a fact that they must of been topping the speed limit by quite some distance to gain on you so quickly.

So now your pleasant ride is being spoilt by some berk constantly in your rear view mirror and you can't help but be distracted by some idiot breathing down your neck.

Good I hate that!

What bugs me is when some one sits right up ur back side in the overtaking lane of the moorway/bypass, when its obvious there's nowhere safe for u 2 pull over 2 let them past..........THEN when u do get a space 2 pull over, They pull over behind u!!!!!!!!!!!! and u think........'WHAT WAS THE POINT!!!!!!!!!

Had a camcorder the other day in car, GF turned it out the back window when mr HGV (profesional driver) was 10ft from rear in 30 limit. Should have seen his face and how quick he backed off. :-D

I always turn my rear view mirror away so that they see me do it. You then cant see them and get some satisfaction from knowing they know you cant see them. its surprising how quickly you forget they are there lol

Spot on! I blame lack of indication as a major cause of urban congestion. How many times have you sat on a roundabout giving way to traffic on the left only to see them take a left turn before you without indicating?

To me, Its just habitual to indicate at all corners etc and I only notice when I forget which is rare. I even indicate when no cars are about for the benefit of pedestrians.

Being flashed by vehicles when you legally overtake them on country lanes when they are travelling way below the speed limit.

Drivers need to understand what this sign means http://www.abd.org.uk/images/signs/nsla_100.gif

It does not mean you have to drive at 25 mph.......grrrrrr!!!!!!

I drive thousands of miles a year and i get sick of people driving to close to me so i flick on my rear view fog lamps to make them think i am braking, that scares them! Talking about fog lamps would someone tell people that its not clever or"cool" to drive round with side lights on and front fog lamps on:x

Well, on three lane motorways, if im doing 70, i like to be in the middle. it is a pain having to go behind the trucks all the time and overtake them. personally, i think its dangerous.

I HATE the ********(mod edit) who will not overtake you when they are speeding. they insist you move from the middle lane. this is what the fast lane is for! ? !

Sadly, you are wrong, the left hand lane is the lane to use when not overtaking.

There is no such thing as a " fast lane " that is also only a lane for overtaking.

Time for you to look at the Highway Code methinks.
#23
Indeedy.

BOTH the outside AND the middle lane are the overtaking lanes, the left hand side is the DRIVING lane. You wouldn't sit on the other other side of the road overtaking loads of cars because you could see a car or lorry half a mile in the distance on a normal A road, so don't do it on the motorway.

Oh i so agree fog lights are so wrong and after a long day driving very hurtful, they have nearly caused me to crash into people after being blinded coming round a corner
It is actually an offence to have them on in non fog conditions, rule is if you can turn your headlights on wo blinding your self then fog lights shouldn't be on.

think these have already been pointed out, both middle lane and outside are "overtaking lanes, not driving lanes. and its for very good reason.
Moving at speed how can a driver keep an eye on you and what's coming up in the third lane, especially as he prob cant see the driving lane and what you may need to pull out to avoid.

What you like isnt important. What you are doing is bad driving and dangerous. The middle lane is for overtaking. Read the highway code. Its a rule for a very good reason.
#27
I hate people that overtake in traffic, im just creeping along, accelerating lightly and then rolling along to save petrol, and then someone overtakes, just to sit right in front of me all the way along the road.
#28
I hate people who don't queue up at busy slip roads and then try and cut in at the last minute into the queue. My personal rule is to never let them in. If I've been waiting for 10 minutes to get off/on the motorway, they can to. And I know its bad but I couldn't care less if it means they are stranded on hatched lines or blocking a road/lane. Tough titties
#29
Drivers who 'hog' the middle lane, and the fools that cut you up.
#30
I hate middle lane hoggers, especially when it means you get a big queue in the outside lane meaning it's utterly pointless to even be there. Following on from that, I also hate it when people drive up your backside wanting to overtake when you're in a queue in the outside lane, when they're clearly not going to get any further or get there any quicker.
1 Like #31
From experience the left lane is usualy safer in heavy traffic as the outside ones are full of heavy brakers expecting to go at 70 and finding everyone queing to do the same haha I jus keep left were there is extra stopping distance and a smoother flo.

If ppl obeyed the sugested limits in traffic it simply wouldnt build up ie if traffic is slow ahead and you arrive braking hard from 70 + (as ppl do) you may as well been doing 40 - 50 and keep moving.

well, when there are trucks on the left hand lane, it is dangerous for me to keep overtaking all the time. so sod the lot of you if you like driving over the speed limit. I am only talking in a 3 lane situation.

Im going to stay in the middle lane because I believe its safer, its impossible to overtake loads of trucks on a long journey. people like you dont let us out!!

It also says in the highway code not to speed.. do you take notice of that?

Kids fighting in the back
middle lane hoggers on the motorway
people wh drive with their headlights on
leaving the house only 5 mins ago ..only for Mrs or kids to need the toilet
people on their phones while driving
white van man
people who go down the 'closing' lane at a traffic filter at roadworks (Ba*t*rds)
people who skip the queue
tailgateing
people who throw rubbish out of the car
boy racers who have those loud boom boom stereo thingies in the boot that sounds like someone putting up a shed
white slightly larger van man
people who put their fog lights on with no fog
an itchy something you cant scratch
people who clear a porthole in the windscreen when it is icy

I bet the people who dont like middle lane hoggers travel over 70 mph most of the time. Because middle lane hoggers dont usually do less than 70. Therefore, the moaners are commiting the worst crime. Speeding!

If it is dangerous for you to keep overtaking then sit behind a truck at 56 or give up driving, as stated before the middle lane is for "Overtaking" not driving.
Using others failings to excuse your own breaking of rules is just lame.

when my car breaks down on a hill, the hill which at the top is a crossroads, which is the entrance to a tourists market town

like it did today...

been making a noise for a week, asked my mechanic mate to take a look at it, he was going to look at it today after i got home, but instead on my way home my car decides to have a smoke

I hate the person who is behind the middle lane hogger who pulls straight out in front of me then drive about 1 mph faster than them and it takes an age to get past, then the have to be about half a mile past them before they pull back over. All I can say is USE YOUR BLOODY INDICATORS you know the little stick under the stearing wheel.
