What Can I Ask For?

It's my 40th in 5 weeks time and my family are asking what i would like as it's a special day. I don't wish to sound shallow, but if I need or want something I normally will go and buy it myself, so I'm trying to think of some good things that I could ask for.

I can pool money together - my family don't mind giving me money, providing this year it's for something decent/to remember by etc. I was thinking of a pamper weekend but then thought that's over and done with. I then thought about holiday vouchers but ..... nah!

I then also thought about a nice couple of platinum gold rings and think that may be a good idea, unless anyone else comes up with anything else?

So please, anyone have any ideas? Preferably something tangible (i.e not day racing or pampering or whatever, cos that goes after a day (I know about photo's and memories but...))

BTW - I'm a girlie!

I dunno hon... I'm just like you... I need it : I get it myself.

When it comes to receiving presents off other people I like little luxury/comfort items that shows someone has thought about me and my likes/dislikes.

I like when people make me things too as it shows care and thought.

I like anything that makes my life easier in any way.

Think about the things you like but wouldnt buy yourself as you can live without them...

How about a gorgeous luxury new handbag or new pair of shoes? An electronic photo thingy...

you know just something a little more luxurious than you would get for yourself x x

Nasty and most upset by your comments! How can you judge someone from a thread! Have been to Go Ape WITH my family - we're out every weekend AS A family. Maybe you'll leave some sarky comments for them!

I was so annoyed with you but I have learnt from this site that people hide behind comments they make on this site so will forget it and have a great rest of the weekend with my lovely hubbie and son.

Thanks to all of the other very good suggestions - I asked for some ideas and got some great ones that I can also expand upon. Will leave rep for all who deserve it and took the effort!
