Trump and May's alliance gives me hope that our values will remain strong and stand the test of time!

If there is but one thing that is certain it would be that the world has likely never had such an uncertain future. Don your British stiff upper lip and hope for the best.

I think Israel should defend itself and I think we should meddle less in the middle east full stop, especially with Iran. The place will become better with less of our involvement.

It's like a bloody sandy hydra, we cut off one head and two more grow in it's place usually using guns we gave them to help us kill the first head.

Yeah let's hail an unelected Tory who is hell bent on privatising our national assets.
For someone who proclaims to be a standard working class bloke just outside of Manchester it's strange that you would not have any issues with two people who are world's apart from you and would do their upmost to keep you from having an equal chance in life.

Yes, I know - you don't like Corbyn. Regardless of that it's still strange you praise a PM who has attempted to sabotage our sovereign Parliamentary Democracy and is the definition of incompetent. Have you seen her in PMQs? She is beyond poor. I despise Thatcher but at least she knew what she wanted to do and was firm about it. May is an idiot.

Honestly, I was never a fan of May and would never vote Conservative myself, However she is the one that has been chosen to lead us out of the EU and so far she is delivering on that front, Albeit 6 months too late and counting.

I have never been a fan of the Conservatives austerity measures, I have just read that the treasury are taking back £384m from school funding , The cuts make me sick and obviously I'm against privatisation but it's the party as an whole, Not May herself although obviously she supports those policies.

Genuinely scary times ahead for politics, I'm not sure who I'd vote for, Certainly not Labour with Corbyn as the leader.

Who was she chosen by? She certainly wasn't elected.
And she was a (closet) remainer lol. Are you sure you want her leading the way with Brexit? I don't.

She wasted 80+ days with this British/Supreme Court ruling when she should know British Law. If you want to change law then it goes to Parliament. You know that place where your elected representative should have a say?

If Brexit happens I want the plans not empty speeches. She still doesn't have a clue. The whole thing is a shambles.
Stop this hard / soft talk and get on with it. We all knew we would have to come out of the single market if we didn't want to accept open movement.

I want Parliament to scrutinise her plan and make sure we get the best possible outcome that benefits the nation not her term as PM and not her government.

All hail May, All hail Trump.

You really want to hail someone who in 7 months has done the square root of naff all and has about as much charisma and influence as an almost retired supply school teacher and wasn't even elected to lead the country?

And also hail a man who has already, within less than 7 days of being in office, reneged on one of his biggest policies that many were taken in by?

Even within a few posts after this nonesense you soon begin to realise how bad a Torry goverment are in taking money away from schools.

It's about time some of you lot actually looked into things properly rather than just living off pointless, empty soundbites.

I won't be voting for May to be re-elected. She's just painted herself as a stooge for Trump - his and Israel's proxy near, not in, Europe.

I think she's wrong on Iran and Russia. She should leave the UK out of the gulf conflict zone altogether and focus on building the economic strength of the UK economy outside of EU.

We need a stronger leader, far more UK centric than May imo.

But why do ME fundamentalists commit terrorist attacks in Europe (and the USA!)? Could it be because the West is constantly meddling in the ME?

I agree, we should leave Israel to defend itself. It doesn't need any help from us. It has nukes and submarines and trained military and a top of the range IT industry, almost second to none.

It doesn't really need any help from us.

I'd be a horrible leader. Besides I'm no politician. If any credible alternative to May announced himself, and put Britain first ahead of Israel and America, they'd get my vote!

We need Israel for its strategic importance, and if we and the yanks withdraw support it will be like a green flag to Iran and Israel's neighbours to invade.
There will never be peace in that region, if the locals aren't hating Israel its each others sect/tribe or flavour of religion.

i don't really follow politics but i have got to say i feel embarrassed for our country for having her as prime minister.

and before the sexist police come out in force it is not because she is a woman, it is because she seems pretty clueless to me.

give it to boris till end of the season :D

Very true words indeed! Stick your nose in the wasp nest and then wonder for being stung!! Pull all forces out from every country and let these guys fight each other WITHOUT any intervention like training fighters on some particular side, selling weapons etc etc. Would be so much less problems. But it will never happen with British, American, Israeli or whatever interests in other countries as they call it.
Was replying to Coek but this brilliant app messed it up.

It's actually a little weird that America had a choice of two idiots wanting to run the Country & here in the UK we have almost the same option with a poor May & Corbyn.

The Conservative party must be pinching themselves every morning at how lucky they are on being up against a very weak labour party that for some for some reason believes Corbyn will have Labour running the Country.

I would say between America having Trump & the UK having May, the safest place to be is Mexico once that wall is/if built!

She should ignore these meddlesome people who just want to cause uncertainty and chaos, get on with the job and do the best you can.

The vote could have gone either way, it's time to build this country up for others to applaud, not try and tear her/Brexit apart because individuals did not get the result they wanted.

I think this is a very good anaylsys of them.
I think May is turning out to be one of the most impressive woman I have ever seen in politics in the last couple of decades.
Compare here with that Labour woman who tried to get corbyn out recently. So memorable, I've forgotten her name, and she is my local ish mp!

Stiff upper lip May, keep it up, the country is behind you.
