What do you expect from the new premier league season 2012/13?
With Arsenal and Chelsea signing big players, City already strong, Utd adding quality, Spurs also sniffing around and other squads getting better, this season should be great.
What do you think will happen this season in league standings, any surprises etc?

Hopefully Arsenal win a trophy or two :D I can't wait for the EPL to begin!!
Thats really worrying then, as we've had a best pre-season in a long time, results wise :|
- West Ham to struggle
- Southampton to get a shock draw v City on the first day of the season
- United to have a slow start
- Liverpool to finish outside of Europe, sacking BR mid-season
- Newcastle to finish mid-table
- QPR tobe this years shock package and finish 6th/7th
- Chelsea to battle Spurs for 4th
*Please note... None of the above is fact and has all just been made up on the spot (Apart from the Southampton v City draw - that's fact)
Barce are bidding for Alex Song by all acounts. Wenger is a shrewd old bleeder though, Champions League position.
Milan have had a 22m bid for Dzeko turned down! £22 for Dzeko? I would have piggy backed him there. If they can keep Tevez, Aguero and Silva flying and Nasri step's up, they will definately fight it out with Utd for the title.
Hope Liverpool get some form. And hope Rodgers can find a system that involves Carroll.
And Villa for top ten ;)

I'd buy him for my 5-a-side team at that price X) Seriously though, Dzeko is a very, very good player - if Agger does go to City I'd love for Dzeko to be part of the deal.
Seriously?
Club football is 1000 times more exciting that International football
I can't see Arsenal getting a slow start this year, as we have squad depth for the first time in ages and there will be a lot of new and old (to keep there place in the squad) players looking to impress.
If RVP decides to stay, I think he will be winning something very soon but if he still wants to go, then he doesn't love Arsenal as much as he's always made out, won't be showing loyalty to probably the only big club in the world that would of stuck by a potential player being ravaged by injuries for several years and will be going purely for money, so he will lose respect all over the world....kinda like Nasri.
I think Utd won't be competing unless they sign a superstar in the middle of the park.

Agreed. How the eff are England expected to do anything with Woy pwaing his 442. With Young, Welbeck or Rooney upfront?
But can also normally only manage half a season of football due to injuries.... there's talk of City offering upwards of £20m, which for an injury-prone centre-back (despite him being one of the best in the world on his day) is a hell of a lot of money. It's all press-talk though, and we had a behind-closed-doors friendly earlier in the week to help with his fitness (which would be a strange thing to do if he was off), so I'm not reading too much into it.
Yeah because Victor Moses is a classic Roman signing innit. Shevchenko, Crespo, Torres, Moses - it just drips off the tongue like honey. X)
I could tell you the names of the people who actually get involved in the signings at Chelsea but it wouldn't make a difference. People like to think Roman makes every decision alone and it simply isn't true.
As for keeping the players happy, Hazard plays left-wing, Marin and Moses start from the bench and Oscar plays in the double-pivot. In a possible 67 game season there's enough games to go round. My expectations are that we push Man City all the way in the title race and may a decent fist of retaining our Champions League.
If Spurs lose Modric then they're going to be lucky to finish 5th. I also think this is the last season for Fergie, Scholes and Giggs.
And let's not forget to laugh at Arsenal who once had an ethos of bringing through youngsters to win stuff. Now they're signing 26 year old mid-range European talent in order to tread water in Champions League qualifying obscurity. Remember to fap over those balance sheets boys because you ain't getting no trophies. :D
Actually one of the most exciting things this season will be seeing how youth and reserve team football kicks on.

I think BR is going to implement a new playing style that Liverpool have needed for a couple of years now. The style we were playing last season was so outdated. That will take time to implement and would be hard to do whilst introducing a load of new players to the club as well. I'd expect him to make a more signings next season.
In terms of players - the return of Lucas is massive, whilst we have good players in Gerrard, Suarez, Agger, Skrtel, Enrique. There are some really good young players like Kelly, Flannigan, and Sterling could have an impact this year. There's a number of players who need to prove their worth if they are to stay including Renia, Downing, Henderson, Carrol, and Cole.
Need to clear out a couple of players starting with Adam who is just brutal. I'd expect a couple of players to come in before the window closes including the guy from Bologna and possibly Allen
Injuries?......is that we call (allegedly) taking cocaine these days
