I'm asking people what they pay and who they are with for broadband and tv. It will help people deciding if they have a good deal. If we get all the lowest prices for all the company's this will be an valuable tool and what people should be aiming at paying. I did a retention deal that went stone cold earlier so this is why I'm interested to know what other people get.
I'll do a rundown of all the best prices if I get enough information.

I had my new broadband deal go live today. I used moneysavingexpert.com and went for the best combination that suited me (e.g. i dont even use my home phone but reliant on good broadband every day). I used to be with Sky and now moved to Plusnet - worked out at around £13/month for home phone and broadband after all discounts/chequeback etc. Probably not the best deal out there but I'm happy :) Their customer service was rather friendly

Oh - and for sky, i used MSE again and got a 50% off sky package code (not for the HD sub unfortunately) - works out around £35/month for the full works incl. movies, sky sports (obsessed with NFL so it was a must), entertainment and HD

Again though - lots of posts on here about people getting better sky deals

May not be the best deal, but I pay £25 a month for unlimited fibre 70mb with plusnet (and the landline as well). I also get unlimited free phone calls during evenings and weekends, which I rarely use. :|

Fibre broadband in the UK is expensive. :(

I pay far too much & I'm fine with that.

72mb down, 20mb up, no traffic shaping. Awesome :)

I'm currently with Sky on unlimited broadband and anytime phone. Paying £5 a month. No line rental for the first year as a result of the O2 migration. I get 2mbps when it's working (although I was told I should be getting a minimum of 5mbps). But most of the time it's always freezing and I can't get any connection. And when it does connect, the connection is intermittent.

Need to look elsewhere as so annoyed with them. They can't resolve these poblems which I've reported since May.

Anyone know of any good deals and good providers?

Free broadband for first 12 months

Landline Phone
Anytime minutes
100 minutes to mobile phones per month

Cost is £26 per month and I get a £50 or £75 Amazon voucher (can't remember which)

Can you get fibre at all? Because you wouldn't believe the speeds? And could be under £20 a month including line rental, well worth it IMO. Better paying £20 on something you can use then paying £5 for something you can not.

Wow never heard of that before. So in Hull you can only have KC broadband? Is that the whole of Hull or just certain areas?

You're absolutely right. Sky have advised me I can get fibre with them, but I don't want to stay with them after their appalling service.
Last night was the final straw. My son was trying to watch his baby videos on YouTube last night but my broadband was down as usual, and he started crying in frustration. Imagine how I feel when I've got bills to pay, insurance to sort out, online banking and grocery shopping. it's a total nightmare.
From January it's all going up. Line rental is £14 I think, broadband another £7 and then the sky talk for £8. So looking at £28. But I wouldn't stay with them even if it was free as the broadband is so temperamental.
Just need to find a provider that's reliable. I don't really need high speeds at the moment as I only use the Internet for browsing, emails, shopping etc. And my son uses YouTube.

I'm happy to upto £20 for broadband.
I don't need a landline as I never use the house phone.

Bt infinite, line rental, free weekend and after 7 week days calls, all for £40.00 a month.
High price I no but worth it because I use online banking, bill paying, now tv,online ps4, catchup tv, all my iPhones & lpads running off wifi,my house in Door and outside cam,s running and recording off wifi, smart tv connected to wifi.
All of this over last 3 years have never let me down, even on black Friday.
It's well worth paying a bit more knowing it all works.
Also Hot Uk Deals is being used every day,(which cost me more than bt)
So if you have untold stuff get some think that can handle it.

Why do you pay sky talk if you don't use your landline? If you can get fibre I'd go with that but it's a bit more expensive. Virgin mobile is worth giving a go in my opinion. Someone earlier recommended BT fibre. I think you'll find it's a more stable connection.

£18 a month for ADSL, no TV or calls. Use mobile or 18185 for calls. Plus I am still waiting for £75 cashback which would bring it down to £11.75 a month. If I was a new customer, I could have got TBC and Plusnet's own cashback which would have made it free; but they hate existing customers :(

Family Sky package, Unlimited broadband and normal phone package. £52 a month. Desperate for Fibre because I only get about 5mb if lucky but they want £20 a month more for fibre. I am nearly up to my year contract so will be trying for 50 percent off then get the fibre. I did get £150 cash back which was meant to pay off the line rental to bring down the monthly charge but that got spent on something else. No Virgin where I live as we have a brick road. But I mostly use Xbmc with Icefilms streaming and even on my slow internet it streams so much better than it ever did on Virgin 50mb I had last year.

BT Unlimited with evening and weekend calls for £16.65 p/m.

I pay £10 for unlimited broadband from Plusnet and £13 a month for landline with the Post Office. Free evening and weekend calls and free calls to European countries at weekends. Thing is I hardly use the phone but only have it for the Internet. Don't know if I could have internet without landline !!

i'm in Thailand, but still addicted to hukd after 5 years living here for some reason... so I thought i;d let you know just for a comparison what I pay.

50m dl / 3m ul - unlimited
Many Thai TV channels
199 minutes free mobile phone calls a month - also might be able to get 1GB of data added on to this for free if I sign up for direct debit on a credit card

799b = £15.58

£15.95/mth line rental and £35.40mth 80/20 package [Static_IP/BLK 8_IP's]

Plusnet for landline and broadband works out about £11 a month with paying line rental upfront and taking quidco into account.

TVL: full sly package a couple of quid a month or so.

Sky £39.40 at the time I got Quidco which got paid as Amazon which I've used towards Xmas gifts and is nearly all gone and £100 M&S but not spent any yet, will do for some Xmas groceries later on in month.

Utility Warehouse, and my broadband and landline is usually free each month, because I get cashback from shopping that comes straight off my bill.

If I didn't do any shopping though, it costs £15.30pm for BB and landline is £7.99 but I got my first 6 months free. Free evening and weekend calls, and free calls to Utility Warehouse mobiles any time. I think that's it.
