During the night?

Mine is right by my side in case I need to be contacted.

Same way as I leave the baby monitor on in case the little ones call out for some reason.

But if I need a good sleep I turn the phone to silent and respond soon as I wake.

What do you do with yours?

Nice thread here peeps : No trolling or bickering. Just chat and banter xx

leave it in a charge docking station and it's always on silent, the muppet show theme tune then wakes me up as the alarm call.

lol, love the sound of the muppets!

My younger daughter has Simpsons to wake her, the elder "Caribbean Queen"!

My radio turns on to wake me :) I listen to Sarah on the news!

we have "My Sharona" as the wake up tone...yeah i hate it

Really that's awful? I've had the same problem.

You should report them to the police. Unless you're talking rubbish that is.

Judge people by how they treat others... that's what I say... If you see someone being unkind to someone else then avoid.

Of course it's another world to listen to senseless mindless gossip. That's just stupidity.

Yes your are bang on there - but unfortunately I only had half the story - the untrue half. Same person sent another poster on here texts also - the EXACT same texts word for word when they said they had collapsed.................was all very freaky and thats when we realised they were off their rocket.

I have learned big time from that massive mistake - there are some very unstable people out there.

Good luck with your thread - am off out to work now:-D Have fun everyone

Mine is always on too (just in case my grown up boys need me in the wee small hours lol) it sits next to the LO's baby monitor at night :)
What did we do without them eh?

Wow sounds like they may have been genuinely unwell!

Bit strange that people are sending one another each others texts and discussing someone else in such detail..... that'd worry me, its obsessive, paranoid behaviour, very judgemental. As you say, some strange people out there!

Have a lovely day sweets xxxx

Drives me nuts when I'm trying to contact the girls and I can hear their phones buzzing in the house! Least thats one good thing about them... we can check up on the whereabouts of children more easily, you dont need that yet tho! xxxx

I think things were simpler for sure. Now that we can contact each other no matter where or when; our (my) anxieties increase to match that!! If my boys are out late I stress until I either hear them come in or they text to say where they are

Yes that was a very silly mistake, you don't want nut jobs texting you at all times of the day and well done for keeping the text messages as its good evidence texts don't lie( unlike some) as that's the the advice I have given to MOP`s who have the same trouble, if it continues you need to let the OB know as its harrasment , and there are laws to prevent this sort of behaviour.

I hope the fool that has been texting you realises they need some professional help..

Keep my phone at bedside for alarm (Sweet child of Mine)

And handy if there's a power cut you can use the light from the screen to get to where your torch is without banging into furniture.

My mobile phone is left downstairs, if anyone wants me they can use the landline in the night! Cant say I have ever had mobile calls in the middle of the night
