It seems far too cheap for what it is supposed to be. I'm wondering if this would run off the usb itself therefore not being tricked by a virus working its way into computer? will it be genuine? I could have done with something like this the other day when i was asked to help remove what turned out to be 41 trojans on my gf's friends pc!

Hows your chinese?

You can get "free" versions of quite a few anti-virus that will run off a memory stick if you know where to look!

You could try this site (among others) for lots of free stuff you can run off a USB stick:

http://portablesoftwares.wordpress.com/category/security/

You can get versions of Firefox, etc too that will run off USB drives too: http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/tips#oth_usb

A 128MB drive should be fine as most program are under 10MB.
