Im ashamed to say ive only used mine the once and its been sat under the tv gathering dust ever since
#2
Ours arrived the day it was released, we played on it that evening but then it was left to gather dust. I loaned it to someone a few weeks ago, and nobody (kids or partner) has even noticed its missing. Needless to say, ours is just another dust collector!
#3
i still didnt get one, but you rnot filling me with hope that i would use it.

ours is used daily. My son plays wii sports every day, my daughter goes on the wii fit every day ( she has lost over half a stone) i use it maybe once a week, and my OH uses it every other day. I have to say in our house we fight to get ON it! as someones normally using it!

Its absolutely brill.I usually go on it for half hour day and the missus for 1hour a day(clever cow).I would recomend to anybody who is serious about getting fit and havin some fun.

everyone i know who got one was raving like mad about it for bit and now about a month later have resigned it to ebay or behind the sofa, as a game controller i probably think it could be quite good, for skateboarding games etc and would even consider getting one if they where cheaper and had some good games for it, but as for trying to get fit with it.........complete gimmick imo, no one using it to 'get fit' will be doing the same old thing on it every day after 6 month. when the novelty games are boring as hell. Could possibly see it as an entry point for people wanting to get fit maybe, but they would soon outgrow it if they where serious thus again making it a waste of money also.

that said, if youre enjoying it at the mo, good stuff

For me its the best thing since viagra,:oops:I have a dickie ticker and angina so it is helping me as it would be impossible to get to the gym as there would be this over weight blob panting away hoping for the kiss off life(chance would be a fine thing..slobber).But to exercise in your own home and having fun too is great,as I say this is thenfirst time I have lost weight in ten years and am absolutely wrapped so it must be good for some.thanks all for your input and good night,paul;-)

Have seen one in friends house, looks good fun. We have no games / consoles / nothing other than desktop and a laptop (never play any games on them either).

If I was to consider buying WI Fit, what other hardware would I need first? Just to give me an idea of total cost. :?

:-D Anything that gives couch potatoes the confidence to take up exercise cannot be bad. Unlike many other games, nice to hear that suitable for all ages and families having fun together

Looking at this thread there are plenty of people on here that have a Wii and even more who do not or can't get one because they are scarce. So why not sell the ones you have bought but will not use,I think the people who want them would be appreciative.

So I need a console and then the game?

TV is quite old. Have scart converter and extensions for the DVD and freeview box. How does it all connect together?

As it is holiday season, may ask a few friends if I can borrow theirs while they are away, see whether it is worth the investment.

You can use the Wii on an old T.V. the leads you need are all supplied.

Got ours thursday & it's fab.
I can see the games/exercises getting boring after time but i'm sure they'll bring out more games to use the board with.
I'd say it was a great buy & probably better than buying a piece of exercise equipment - will get more use out of it, anyway.

but thats pretty much the same with all wii games. I just rent all of them and they go back within a few days. Only decent one I have played is Wii sports and Family ski.

Mind you I just cant get into wii games as they all seem geared around 5-12 year olds.

So would anyone be willing to sell for a reasonable amount considering they dont use?
?

I'll just wait until people stop wanting them and i'm sure they will drop hard in price. 2-4 months and I reckon probably pick them up for £30 or less

£30 for wii fit in 2-4 months? Dream on. They sell for £100+ on ebay and no sign of large volume stocks appearing this side of Christmas.

and probably 99.9% of the population. ;-)

2-4 months will be into xmas shopping and with supply being poor, I expect these to rise in price a lot (might sell mine on ebay if they get to £150+).

They are right mate, its gonna be a long time before the price goes down.I was told that there was not going to be enough stock for the xmas rush never mind price drop in a couple of month.regards

Bwahahahahahahaaha down to £30 or less. Riiiight. There's no sign of prices going down and supply is still scarce. The only places that have them in stock for any longer than 5 minutes are selling them as bundles and rightly so.
#28
Since this the OP did this thread, I've actually started using mine again....thanks podd2000 :-D

My sister has one, ive not played it much because it requires me to close the curtains so that people in the street dont laugh

I never said they'd go to £30 in shops I said they'll drop in price and I'll pick one up for £30. Picked up a psp the other day for £20 still laughing are we? Good oh and I work in a place where these come in stock so I could have one at full price any time.
#31
Ourdave. Did you realise they're not in stock anywhere? :p

natversion1 I doubt the place where you work will sell you one for £30 when they could easily make £40 more on it selling it to a customer off the street.
