How cold of her; she is holding the boy in the picture but the text says she was willing to get rid off him before he was born, very sad and I hope the boy never get hold of this story because it would really hurt him.

People like this make my blood boil. How can she sit there and say that she may not have gone ahead with her pregnancy after having that child in her life for so long.
She's lucky she even got a 20 week scan some places don't do them and if she was that worried she could have requested/ insised on a repeat scan!!

She said she MIGHT not have gone through with it, IMO she is just being brutally honest. I think some parents would consider termination if their baby had such a serious heart defect.

Shame, well noone knows what they will do until they faced with this kind of situation.
Have son myself with autism, some people think children shouldn't be born with such problems, illnesses, disabilities and so on,but it's down to choice.
For me,I'm glad he is here and wouldn't change him for what diffuclties we always seem to have to face,I remember this childless couple wanting him,I was offered 10K,he's however priceless.

people will try and get money for anything these days she should be glad she has had a chance to have a child many dont

A face for radio.

She looks like a fat lesbian version of the joker!!!
#12
I know its awful but in this situation I would have to weigh up the pros and cons.

I have 3 kids, if my youngest had something like this in scans i'd have to consider if my other children would be affected by the amount of care he would need etc.

It wouldn't be an easy decision for anyone to make but she looks a bit of erse.

she is suing the hospital ( or rather the Health Trust I would think ) for money

hence most of the points she is making.

Whether she is right to do that is a question of morality.

She says "I don't know what I would have done had I known, whether I would have carried on with the pregnancy or not, but it would have been good to be able to make an informed decision."

Sounds to me like she has been versed in what to say.

She's lucky to have her child. I hope she realises that is true, whatever else is going through her head.
#17
I do think its wrong tho, if she wanted to sue the hospital then why not do it right away, why wait 4 year to do it.

Yeah I know but surely she could have got it 4 years ago, why now?

She's probably said things in haste too,I hope deep down she knows she lucky to have him.

I dunno, I'm not her agent? lol

If I was being charitable, I'd have to say emotional shock of the birth and being a Mum to two other kids already and the day to day needs of her three children plus the extra needs of the youngest has made it take this long to get to this position...

If I wasn't then I'd say, she just wants the money and has worked out how to go about getting it....

Take your pick, or of any variation of the two options.

I do know that more and more we are becoming a " you can sue them for that" society, but I do also feel sorry for her as a Mum, I assume she is coping with a lot, just as we all do x x x

You both knew exactly what was meant as you both couldn't wait to correct.

God some people on here are full of their own importance and love to try and belittle others.

It gets very boring.

Yeah but if you read the article she has a 1 year old, dunno about the other one, so it cant be that much of a strain to look after him or she wouldn't have had anymore.

Oh chill out. Just as you ignored the bad spelling you could have ignored our corrections. The corrections could have helped the OP. Ignorance is not always bliss.

The spelling mistakes were just that, mistakes, your corrections were not "trying to help", just two children being a pair of a*se's.
