I've got a power adapter that i wan't to use with a free view box.
Free view box says 12v 500mA.
and power adapter says 12v 600mA

Will this be safe and ok to use?

Yes, fine to use, it means the power adapter can supply up to 600mA current and the device requires 500mA so should be fine.
